I've never been one to pick up an older game but I definitely love remakes, I find the graphics of older games are to dated and I need something to be aesthetically pleasing to play it.

I have played quite a few games that are older than me. I'm a big fan of rpgs and I don't mind the graphics in older games. Here's a link to my steam account if you want to see most of the games I've played.

I played Pokemon Red for the first time when I was about 6-7 years old. That one came out in 1996 if you count the Japanese release. I was born in 1999 for reference. I've also played the rest of the mainstream Pokemon games as well as most of the spin-offs. Another old franchise I've followed is the Fire Emblem some of those games date back to 1991. Those earlier few are Japanese exclusives though and thus hard to get your hands on in the US. I only recently played the early FE games.

'Old' games for me were from ~90's to 00's on PC. Never cared for consoles or console games until X360, but even then, I still used my PC more often. Army Men series, Dune 2000, NFS II: SE, NFS III: HP, Simcopter, IL-2 Sturmovik, all that shit was great. GOG needs to get DUNE 2000 and the old NFS titles on their platform, stat.

'Old' games from the ~ NES era? I don't care about those.
