Hi,

My CR app is no longer working on Apple TV. Since today, it wouldn't load, giving errors messages and so I logged out to start again, reset Apple TV etc and now I can't even log in.

Device Type: Apple TV
Streaming Via: Wifi
OS Version: 11
App Version: unsure, but I just deleted and reinstalled it today, so must be the latest

I logged out and attempted to log back in. It is giving me the error message:

Server Error
The application received an unexpected response from the server. Please try your action again.


Everything else in Apple TV is working fine. My CR (premium) account is working fine on laptop and phone.

Please advise.

I am also experiencing issues with the AppleTV app. I have a CR Premium account and it is not working for me either. Deleted and reinstalled the app and now I cannot log into the app and get a server error. What is going on?

Same error here. Worked fine up till yesterday, logged out of the app today since it wasn't working properly and now I can't log in again.

Same issue here...worked for one show and then tried to watch another and got an error message. Force quit the app and restarted but now I can't login. Is there a known issue and has support responded?

UPDATE:

Here's something that worked for me and it might work for you guys too:

I have restarted my network connection and apple tv and it's working now, maybe it had some cached files being sent to the server that was causing the problem...

Same issue here. I was logged in last night, but trying to access any videos gave me the "Unexpected response from server. Please try your action again." message. Then I logged out and couldn't log back in, with a mixture of incorrect authentication information errors (it was correct, because the same password worked online), server errors, and timeouts. After trying a bunch of times, my account was locked.

This morning, I am able to get in through the website, but the apple TV app is giving me the same "unexpected response" error and won't let me log in; I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app, and restarting the apple TV, to no avail. Please help!

Same problem, Server Error message after logging in on my Apple TV app. To note, this is a 3rd gen Apple TV with the touch remote, which is having the problem from just a few days ago, as noted above by others. My older 2nd gen Apple TV can play CR no problem.

I have deleted my app and reinstalled it, then logged in just to get the same Server Error message. No problems with any other apps, just CR.

Is there a problem with tvOS 11 support?

Same problem here. Came back after dropping the service 2 years ago due to it seemingly never working when I go to watch it, and got to watch a whole two episodes.

same thing is happening to me right now. I got an apple tv 3 days ago, and up until now it worked fine.
It says: "The data couldn't be read because it isn't the correct format"..?
