So 35 years of Macross, Who da thunk it right? So this just basically asks all of you out of all the Macross Series, which one is your favorite? There's too little answers in poll to list 'em all so if you happened to like any Macross Series not initially shown, then click The "Other" option & mention it below.

Also, while on the subject of Macross, here's another poll being created through Watchmojo -
https://watchmojo.com/suggest/Top%2010%20Macross%20Series%20Songs

I know some people frown upon WatchMojo & their polls, but I made a poll suggestion under them to do a Top 10 on the songs from Macross Series as a whole, from SDF Macross (brought over to the US under the Robotech name) to the most recent Macross Delta series. I put in about 20+ songs, mainly favorites. So if you wanna Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down some, or even suggest songs that I may have missed from any of the Macross Series, then feel free

I have fairly limited Macross experience but I absolutely love Macross Plus, so I'm voting for that.

To be honest, Macross Plus was the first Macross series I ever watched myself.

SDF Macross, nothing compares to the original. I'm a big fan of Yoko Kanno, but the story of Macross Plus is meh!

By the way, for anyone who doesn't know about this terrible situation: https://kotaku.com/5990702/why-you-havent-seen-any-new-macross-in-the-west-for-nearly-15-years

I watched the start of SDF Macross in 2015, and it was great. Then I finished it in 2016 and was irritated so badly that I wrote a 2000-word diatribe about it.

Then I started watching Delta, and it was great in a completely different way. But it also got worse as it went along.

I plan to watch them all eventually, but far higher in my PTW list is AKB0048 (As is the remainder of old and new Yamato, which is more to my taste.)

For a while I thought Symphogear and Xenoglossia were about mechs powered up by song, but they're not. Apparently no such anime exists, and that's baffling.

like them all, but have to give it to SDF. For a show about to celebrate 35 years, it's really held up pretty well. One of my first anime, i saw it when it was (God help me, I'm getting old) first broadcast.

Yeah it's very sad. Seems like Harmony Gold is holding the series hostage all ove a trademark. That recently went to court, but from last I heard, the Macross Trademark they hold will expire in four years. My reaction......Too long! As if three decades wasn't long enough.
