So im new here, and i wanted to try crunchyroll so I decided to activate the free trial version and I have one question, when my trial version ends will it take my money instantly? Or I have to set it up first? Or can I cancel it like i have 2 days of trial left and i want to stop my account. As I said i dont want to pay so is there options to stop my trial account and save it for later? Like i cant watch anime and stuff but the profile would still exist normally without any paying ?

If the free trial expires it will start taking in real money. But you can cancel anytime you want before or after it expires. So if you don't want to spend money, make the cut one day before your trial expires.

if i remember correctly if you entered payement info (which i'm pretty sure you have to for the free trial) it will start charging you after the free trial runs out, but you can always just cancel before then if you don't want to pay for premium and just use your account as a regular account without the perks of the premium membership. I could be wrong on this of course it has been a little while since i used a free trial for my first account, so it might be better to ask a moderator or someone more in the know
anyways, hope i helped a little

Hmm, I've only canceled mine after I went past the trial, I'd say delete the card info. I wouldn't worry too much though unless it is being charged from your dad's credit card

I've moved this over to the Site Support/Minor Questions forum.

Yes. If you cancel before the trial ends (2 days would be be a good time, since I have seen sometimes where people tried on the last day and payment processing had already started, requiring them to actually contact customer support to get the pending payment removed.).

Do not cancel before you are ready to stop the trial though--the premium membership will cancel immediately--it won't finish out the rest of the trial period.

When you cancel you will still have your account -- it just won't be Premium anymore.

If you do run into problems when canceling, you can reach out to customer support for assistance using the /contact form.
