I am trying to get into exercising again. It is difficult because I had ACL reconstruction surgery on one leg a year ago and an old minor MCL tear on the other leg both from sports injuries. I also just finished school which helped keep my weight in check because I was constantly on the run but now I have to work on balancing my diet and activity level. I am not one for gyms (they kind of make me feel uncomfortable) so I am starting from the basics with stretching like yoga and building strength. I brought out the old Wii Fit to hopefully keep me motivated. I also do Aikido (martial art) two times a week to get a little cardio in.

Everyday besides the weekends. I just go-to the weight room at my high school and lift. I feel happy and great afterwards so yeah.

I can't run even run 1 mile 2-3 hour after eating lunch/dinner let alone this

if you want to be one of the best always aim for the optimal numbers

*2 minute limit for push ups, sit ups and pull ups*

You need to be within the top 10% to be considered so i would aim for the competitive standards.

Yoga four days a week, though the fourth day is restorative yoga. That's mostly stretching and meditation. Since I am a newbie, it is both cardio and strength building. 45 minute walk around my office building everyday, weather permitting. 60 minute walk at the mall on weekends. Started yoga because my physical therapy ran out for my shoulder. Yoga is a lot cheaper and works as good. Wish I had started long ago. Would have saved me a couple of shoulder surgeries.
