I'll fail the 500 yard swim and pull ups for sure. I'm sitting at the desk all all so asking me to do 100 sit ups in 2 minute? impossible at the moment.


*update*
I took the physical test this morning

47 sit ups in 1 min
58 push ups in 1 min
11min 34 sec 1.5 mile

the numbers above are possible but not for me at this moment

2 minute will make it even harder!! since I can't do any more push ups after 1 minute. It's worst when they are doing all of them within minutes of each other. There's no time for break.

How many months do you have to run to get 1.5 mile in within 9 minutes?

My job gives me all the exercise I need.
Managers made me buy new shoes because mine had holes. What's a few holes? It's letting my feet breath!

3 x TKD classes.
2-3 x gym sessions...when time permits.

Nordic Trak 5ish days a week, about 36-38 minutes each day.
Yoga, a 1.5 hour class once a week.
Numerous walks, occasional bike rides, etc.

since adopting our dog, who is a Rottie/Dalmatian cross, I've taken up running. It's hilly around here, so we'll do a 2 mile jog almost every day that it's nice enough to do so (I have inner ear problems and asthma that make me dizzy/give me coughing fits if I go running in cold air, even with earmuffs on.)

I try to keep to a 9-minute mile pace, because if I don't tire the dog out, I'll have to put up with him whining because he has too much energy (I
work from home as a full time artist.) if I still have energy, I'll do some light weights and do some kickboxing drills to keep up my flexibility.

Because of a spinal condition, I can't work out for too long or I'll risk herniating a disc in my back, so my limit per day is about 45 minutes, but I make those minutes count. Intensity > duration. The harder you push yourself, the greater the rewards; exercise isn't just about getting in your quota, it's about constant improvement.

Used to every day. Now I do about 3-5 times a week--too busy with work.
