Scenes that struck a chord in each one of us are those that are personal in nature or a scene that means to anyone of us.

For me scenes of a love ones spirit being seen by love one or close friend or family and saying goodbye always stuck in my head and I will never forget them.

3 moments stayed with me the moment I saw them.

1.Digimon adventure the movie. Greymon vs Parrotmon. To this day, even if I must have watched the fight over a 100 time now, this fight just makes me smile. It's easily my favorite of all time. From my VHS to now my pc. Its been with me since I was 7.

2.GUNDAM SEED. Rau le Creuset speech about the twisted and corrupted Cosmic Era human modification. This scene though is really sold by Mark Oliver's beyond perfect performance. The way Rau slowly goes more insane as he speak his delievered masterfully. I still get goosebumps hearing it. *I ALONE CAN JUDGE ALL OF HUMANITY!*

3. My Hero Academia. All Might vs Noumu. The first time I watched the episode on the day it aired I actually cried of joy. I was so shocked at how above and beyond this fight was then what I was expecting that I couldn't control it. The raw and pure battle between those two just resonated with me. All Might proving to the world that he is still the symbol of peace. The pure resonating sounds of his voice when he screams PLUS ULTRA. Just thinking about it actually makes me emotional. *Do not fear! Why? Because I am here!*

Not really a scene, but there's this one episode from monogatari

Fuck yeah!

I really only remember the lewd ones like when Gon and Killua meet Hisoka on Greed Island, The second or third episode of Hanasaku Iroha with the writer, The scene in Armed Girls Machiavellism where Protag-kun puts on a mawashi for one of the girls. That one lewd scene in Bakemonogatari where Kanbaru is all laid out on her bed talking to Araragi on the phone.

I don't even have to set it up, just one broken word and all of you will hate me:

There are several other scenes from that anime too.

Pokemon the movie with Pikachu crying over stone Ash.

The end of Psycho Pass when you realize that nothing has changed. The system won.

SAO when Kirito decides to be the bad guy to protect the dead beta tester's honor at the first floor boss.
SAO when Kirito kills Santa only to realize he can't bring back the person he wanted to, and hands off the item.

The very last scene of the Madoka Magica series.

The scene with Wolfwood in the church in Trigun.

The scene where Ed tears off his coat in FMA 2003 in the first two episodes. It's one of my single favorite bits of animation.

When Wizardmon dies in Digimon Adventures. And also when he shows up as a ghost in 02.

Goku first going super saiyan against Frieza.

I think all of us have our favorite anime, characters, etc. but what scene from an anime (whether it's your favorite anime or not) has stuck with you above all others? For me it's from Robotic;Notes. I always find myself thinking back to it. This anime didn't seem to be the most popular (and I never see anyone talking about it) but it was pretty good in my book. It's just this one scene, though, that's stuck in my mind...

Honestly, I won't say it's the best scene or the best anime ever but... something about how horrific it was and still is just stuck in my mind. So, what's yours?

I forgot about that scene in Robotic;Notes. That scene was very powerful. Probably one of my favorites looking back at it now.

Can I just say I really like this thread? With how quickly the industry moves, it's not so often we get to go back and talk about anime made a year or more ago uness its some sort of big IP.

There are quite a few so at random picked this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7LvDDF6LB8

After everything you'd seen leading up to it, from every tear shed, to all the despair we were forced to witness, to see a villain make her last move and ultimately fail was so satisfying it stuck with me. Though you can't really hate her when you know her story, she was a great villain in a great anime

When I say the fight scene it's usually the whole movie :P, but I was pinpointing my favorite scene of the movie. Everytime were an american song played is a great moment. *All my best friends are metal head* is one of my favorite song of all time along with *I'm going digital*.

But yea I can't forget "YOU GOT MAIL!". Defintely one of the best scene. Man just remembering is making smile haha. The Digimon crew is just too good.

Too many to count. I will say though that I do hate the ones that get me choked up. For example the last few minutes of Plastic Memories.

There was an episode of March Comes in Like a Lion where someone said this.

Only I will know my own memories of "running away" and "slacking off." But at critical moments, my coach often tells me to "believe in myself." And if you have even one memory of "running away" and "slacking off," you'd think "But I slacked off that time after all." Then, you can't do it.

I just thought that was the most brilliant explanation I've ever heard of why you shouldn't "phone it in" even when you can get away with it.
