Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this

been having chest pain for months and its seems to be acid reflux, gastritis, esophagitis problems. but its not like a normal heart burn where it comes and goes.

i went to the ER when i could not bear the pain anymore and they said i was low in potassium.

i knew i had to go to the ER when my heart rate was unbearable. it felt like impending doom.

seems i was just anxiety from the pain but ive never had anxiety and now i get anxiety (heart rate increase for me,

anxiety is different for everyone) i still have the pain in my chest where the esophagus is. it last all day and it like someone is pinching your skin with their nails. Is this considered chronic pain? ive gotten better at controlling the

anxiety. but i get flare up thru out the day and sometimes i get a surprised pain out of nowhere like my heart skipped a beat.

i eat way better now and i took out sugar and coffee especially since i dont want faster heart rate. i never ate
veggies until now( i like them, just never made them since i cook for myself). and i eat fermented foods for probiotics

and more food in general. i went down to 112 from 120 during the ER time . 3 months later im back at 120( my goal weight is 132) but the pain

is still there all day and i don't have money or insurance for endoscopy. its hurts to exercise but i try to do as much as i can until my heart and chest are bothering me to much. i take cold showers now to try and help. i take apple cider

vinegar.i take medicine(esomeprazole) to reduce the acid in my stomach. but i learned that pills for acid are just short term and i want to cure this so i dont have to take the med for rest of life even tho i don't think its helping much in the first place.

I just want to know if anyone has experience anything like this and overcame it. this also might be enetic since my dad is going to something similar but i think for him its just heart burn which come and goes but really hurts for that
period.

but for me its all day and night. im trying to be strong mentally but this pain is just ... i been crying almost every night( kinda helps me sleep) im desperate for a solution so im asking here

Hi, Late last year I experience the same thing. I totally feel you. I was so scared. i Thought i was having heart attack because I confuse the lump in my chest into I cannot breath. Because the pain is unbearable I brought myself to the ER and also I was crazy panicking of what is happening to me.

They gave me antacids. It took a while before I felt better. I went home on the same night. And I thought it was over but it wasn't. The next day while I was working I felt the lump in my chest and I can feel this intolerable pain. I will try to cut my story shorter. I have to visit my doctor and tell him whats happening to me. He advise me to watch what I eat. From there we try to watch whats triggering my attacks. Stress can also trigger the attacks. I totally avoid those food, I haven't drink coffee and soda for a year. Also do not over eat. Just eat small frequent meals. When you sleep elevate your bed, Usually heartburn happen during night time. And Ginger also helps. and do not consult the internet. it will just make you feel worst.Yes, you need exercised. Hope this helps.

General Discussion was the wrong place, but I've moved it to Advice, Info, Recommendations, which is the more right place on Crunchyroll.

I have had similar situations. just to let you know, you can die from being too stressed/anxious, these days it's not as rare as it use to be. so take care of yourself, listen to the professionals and try to do your best not to dwell/focus on every single thing. glad it wasn't nothing too serious and you're doing better.

I have had digestive issues for many years, and it could be a number of them. The first would be LPR or silent reflux. I get pain in my esophagus and not my chest like those with heartburn. The other is an overgrowth of bacteria in your intestines called SIBO. Check the symptoms for those two to see if they match. SIBO is often the root cause of many digestive issues.

yea basically same story. even after i left the ER i ended up worst and had to go back. anti acids are not really helping me. i seen two different DR but they all just give me a different branded anti acid or PPI. they never said anything about what i should eat. i had to do all that research on my own. im just holding on with buying way better food until i get insurance. there are many different test to see if i have problems with my gut . but these DR just want to go to the most expensive test.
