I hate it because it created another paywall to deal with to watch upcoming popular anime. Amazon has the money and resources to outbid Crunchyroll, so I can't help but to think that many of the anime that Amazon gets the rights to would have otherwise found their way to Crunchyroll. And don't get me started on Netflix. What they do is a double slap to the face. Not only do they get really promising anime exclusively but they also make you wait many months after the anime has aired in its entirety in Japan until they release it stateside. I don't like it but I suck it up and wait patiently and pay up. Gotta at the very least show my appreciation of the anime industry and watch it legally.

I have to admit, whoever is in charge of picking out the anime for Amazon and Netflix have been doing a great job. Their selections are limited compared to Crunchyroll but they recently have been getting anime I'm most interested in watching. Scum's Wish, Re:creators, Made in Abyss, Rage of Bahamut:Virgin Soul, and Sagrada Reset just to name a few. And now Amazon Strike has Garden of Sinners available to stream! That's amazing considering the movies are super rare and expensive.

Did not know AnimeStrke is there but I can give you one major reason why add-on channels on Amazon Prime are almost always crap.

Not all titles are available for add-on channels.

An example is the Destination Unknown add-on, it is a pure crap. Some series have a Destination Unknown logo on the title but you can't even watch it regardless if you are on a full website or streaming device/mobile.
