Hi guys, I have a question. Does anyone know where I can watch the second season? I can't watch it on Crunchyroll because it say ''unavailable in your country''.I watched it before on ytb or others but I can't find the ep 4 ><'

I have the same thing, not available in my country. There's a certain post in here that says it can also be watched from something called, line live. I tried and but... not only it's japanese but if i try to translate it, it doesn't work. I also heard somewhere that it can be watched from Bandai or such, i can't remember. I can be wrong.

So, my only option is to watch it from these fansubbed sites. Like i've said, i'm not proud of it, but i'm not gonna wait a year or so of its home release coming. This one is just that important to me.

Okay thank you, well I'll do the same as you because I can't wait to watch it, even if it's not by a ''good'' way xD

Try using a browser called Opera. I won't tell you how to use it. You can google search it, but it has a pseudo built in VPN setting you can use.

it's the only reason I can even read articles on CR due to region blocking.

Kind of like they did in season 2 two of the first series? If you remember three groups that muse split up into were the actual sub units that actually transitioned a bit into yume no tobira.

Ooh, thank you, I actually couldn't remember at all that moment! Still, I don't think we ever had a sub-unit song in the anime (LL and LLS) or am I mistaken? I'd love to see Guilty Eyes Fever animated!

Episode 3

Drama and fun all in one episode, though I do sort of wish they'd hold back a little on the drama at this point, or at least give it more room to breathe. 3 episodes in to the season and we've already had more than 3 "crisis" moments with their resolutions coming almost as soon as the crisis itself. Every episode doesn't need to be some major challenge for the girls to overcome otherwise none of the challenges ever actually feel tangible. Anyway, beyond that, great episode overall. I loved both performances, especially the first one. Great song and gorgeous costuming. I really want to see that one performed live. On the first song, though, it sounded a lot like μ's material, especially the opening/chorus which was pretty much note for note from Umi's "Watashitachiha mirai no hana." Not bad, but it had me scratching my head wondering where I had heard that song before.

Now that you said that, My Mai Tonight really sounded like Umi's song! With that said I don't think they meant it, because that may be due to this style of music (traditional japanese melody). In my opinion this style's musical arrangement makes most of them similar.
My Mai Tonight reminds me of Watashitachi wa mirai no Hana, but also reminds me of Senbonzakura's Wagakki Band version and Katanagatari's third opening "hakushu kassai utaawase" from Supercell.
But honestly I couldn't care less. I LOVED the song, the costumes and everything else!

Overall, Love Live Sunshine is doing great! I wonder how popular this season is as I don't see many people talking about it. I think they're doing a great job! Since the very first episode of this season I noticed a steadily increase on the character development with all those simple reactions such as Hanamaru's hilarious reactions, Dia's reactions on episode 4 and everyone's "what the hell" faces in every single episode (e.g chika wearing a mikan costume). That not only makes it way more funny, but the characters seems to be more real, with a more fluid personality. :)

Certainly. I don't make any claim at all to knowledge about traditional Japanese melodies so it's very possible that it's just a very common phrasing. It was more just that sort of "I know I've heard this before but I have no idea where, and it doesn't make sense because this is a new song" feeling. And in this case it really was just that one bar that is the culprit.

Episode 5

A bit of an underwhelming episode for me personally. I much preferred last episode even though both this episode and the last focused largely on characters I'm not all that attached to. Yoshiko just doesn't do it for me, never has really, and I prefer Riko when matched with Chika and/or You anyway. I'm sure the many many Yoshiko fans out there will love it though. Not much to say other than that for this one.

Back to back fanservice (serving the fans) episodes. I know we all felt disappointed at the end of season 1, but this is why we love these characters so damn much. Just like last season I'm getting the feeling that things are being paced unusually slow, they aren't in a rush to get into the actual contests just yet and next episode looks like another mellow one. Whether you love or hate the current flow you have to admit when things get rough the show can really shine.

Can't quite put my finger on it, but last week's episode was so much better than this one. Reminds me of those childhood group activities that you never forget. I was like 1000% sure she would name the dog Cerberus.

I'll disagree with people comparing last week and this week. I like them both for completely different reasons.

I personally loved this episode. I loved last week too, but I was definitely smiling and laughing a lot more this week. I don't think I stopped smiling from the first scene to the last this week.

Yohane is just perfection.

I've found the 2nd season to be underwhelming, I couldn't even bring myself to finish the 2nd episode.

Compared to the first season these girls aren't showing a whole lot of individual personality this time. It just seems to me to be just a whole lot of genki-doingrandomstuff-genki-repeat.

I was a huge fan of the franchise (first gen), even went to those places in Tokyo where the Muse girls went to (ran up those same famous steps they trained on, went to Honoka's house, walked down the same streets in Akihabara that Kotori ran down on during her escape, etc etc)... I think the reason not nearly as many people are talking about the franchise nowadays is that it's just isn't as good. The first season of 2nd gen was still okay but this 2nd season is a let down.

Something i remembered was the puppet show that was only shown in... April's Fool (i think). Despite there was no subtitles, it was fun to watch. I don't suppose it can't be found anywhere? If only it were possible to see that again...

Episode 5: As others have discussed it, i agree. Not as great as the previous one, but still all right. I may be Yohane-fan, but her "It's Yohane!" quote started to get old or such.

Episode 5

Yoshiko happens to run into a stray dog after practice and decides to take care of it but can't have it at her home, so asks Riko to take care of it while she finds it a new home. While Riko has the dog she happens to get attach to it also and when the owner comes to pick the dog both girls have problems giving the dog up. Yoshiko can't accept that the dog belongs with it's owner stakes out the place until she sees the dog and Riko tags along. After Yoshiko sees the dog she is able to accept that it belongs with it's owner and Riko tries to close the gap with Chika's dog.

I agree that this episode was a bit underwhelming, especially compared to last week's episode, but I still enjoyed it. The main problem I had with it was that it went to slowly and the fact that my precious mikan was hardly in it jk.
I kind of didn't get what they wanted to achieve with this episode until the end, really. In last week's episode, we saw (from pretty early in the ep) that Dia just wanted to get closer to the other girls (which she did end up doing in a roundabout way). I didn't really get where this episode was heading, but when Riko was patting Shiitake's head at the end, I realised that it was more about Riko wanting to change, and that was really sweet, honestly. And Yoshiko was just...idk, really. I didn't really feel like she developed too much as a character this episode. Though her interactions with Riko were pretty cute; I've always thought that those two would make a good pair.

I really enjoyed this episode. We got a bit of development for Riko who took some steps forward and for the first time we learned why Yohane carries on the Fallen Angel persona. While not really "development" in terms of moving her character forward it did add a missing piece to her history.

Interesting that both Riko and Yohane were featured in the ED. The series is listed as 13 episodes so they're going to go through all the girls well before the end of the season. Which makes me wonder how they plan to fill the space after all the Aqours members get a turn. (And I'm still curious how they've chosen the order of appearance.)

It's still super popular in Japan and I wouldn't doubt its the #1 selling show this season. But Western fans don't really follow the IRL stuff much, so hype for shows can wane (although sequels tend to in general).

I would highly doubt that it'd be the number one selling show. There are so many other good shows this season.

I noticed today Good Smile is doing a re-issue of the Chika Nendoroid. That seems to bode well that at least in Japan the Love Live! brand is still popular.
