Doing a steampunk/alchemy theme this year. Was gonna do a samurai theme since I'm in a sengoku mood but Party City had nothing so I ended up with Steampunk. Got a nice dress and cape(those cape prices are insane tho might end up returning it and making my own lol), as well as a pair of gloves. Wanted to get a steampunk cane but it was like 15 bucks for some cheap plastic thing, no way I'm doing that lol.
As for my other plans, I'll be playing some Castlevania games as well as Darkstalkers intermixed with some Code Realize(Why did I have to wait till RIGHT up to the adaption's premiere to finish all 5 routes???). House is all decorated already so all that's left is to watch as many spooky movies as possible(and pumpkin carve I suppose, but I haven't done that in ages orz)

I have to say that as long as trick or treaters are in costume, I don't care how old they are. It's an awesome holiday; I just want people to have fun with it.

You can often tell from the voice (even when they are wearing a mask/costume)

I do not want this. My town had problems with that exact thing a couple years ago when IT was announced. We had people all around town, and on the college campus, dressed up with weapons, acting in threatening manners toward people. Unfortunately, my coworker was in the Halloween shop last week when he and his brother witnessed some folks steal several hundred dollars worth of merchandise, including clown masks.

On topic, I don't know if I'm doing anything. I've never been very big on Halloween, but if we're allowed to dress up at my job again this year, I'll probably do it just for fun. Last year me and a couple of coworkers won the costume contest (One was Popeye, I was Bluto, and my 6'2" 280 lb. coworker with a goatee was Olive Oil), but others took advantage of the opportunity to wear sweatpants, pajamas, and the like, and claim them as costumes. Because of the laziness and resulting sloppy look, they were talking about cancelling this year's.

Halloween is one of the few days you can wear masks around.

kinda leaning toward cinderella.

although I'd love to do a cosplay that's similar to how I look on a daily basis, so it feels a little more natural.

There's no plan. I don't celebrate halloween and my neighbourhood is too conservative to decorate more than the odd subtle ornament for any sort of holiday or festive occasion. I must have seen a small pumpkin lantern a few times in the whole neighbourhood a few times. At Christmas one or two may put up traditional Christmas wreaths on their doors and one other puts simple lights on one of their trees in their garden. The local shopping area will have decorations on each lamp post and the large tree in the green with have bit lights for Christmas. That's it.

I always wear something cute/festive at work. This year I'm probably going to watch "Over the Garden Wall" with my cat, a tradition my ex and I started 2 years ago sans the cat. My current friend group isn't the "going out" type and probably won't want to do anything.
