Here begins one of the worst weeks of the year for anime - the between seasons week, where all the previous season's shows have ended and the new season hasn't started and nothing has even been announced yet.

I actually love the week between seasons. I almost always end up watching so much stuff while it's being simulcast that I don't have time for watching much else. So when my simulcast commitment is low between seasons I'm able to spend more time watching some old anime series that's been sitting in my queue for a long time, or even, *gasp* things that aren't anime.

Same. And that's just on CR. I've got stuff queued up on Hulu and Netflix too. :/

Especially with all of the stuff CR just added to their catalogue, this is the perfect week to binge a few shows you may have been wanting to watch for a while or may have never heard of before.

Well, there are some seasons where the next one begins even before the last one ends. But this time around I have some down time before things really get busy starting on Tuesday. Of course, this pales in comparison as to the end of the year when there's a dead week that has about 10 days of no new shows.

Yeah I have 75+ on CR 15+ on Funimation and I still haven't even seen season 2 of The Last Kingdom or the second 10 episodes of the latest sesson of Vikings

Yeah I agree with everyone else, great time to catch up. Had lots of free time last week and finished 3 shows ( highly recommend Rolling Girls and Gatchaman Crowds) and am watching Welcome to the NHK now ( which I also recommend), there are so many shows on CR (especially with the stuff added from Funi) you can't possibly have seen them all.

It's that time to clear up your backlog. I've been watching G Gundam and catching up with One Piece. I love it.

The week I can finally start going through my queue before I end up adding 10 shows to it with the start of a new season.

I'm not sure what you mean? UQ Holder is on Amazon tomorrow, as is Osomatsu on Crunchyroll, Black Clover, Food Wars, Juni Taisen, Sengoku Night Blood, and Love is Like a Cocktail are Tuesday on Crunchyroll Tuesday and I know there's other shows premiering through the week on both CR and Amazon.
