I have never really had one but I imagine being there for you and letting you sleep over when your a child also sometimes showing a disinterest in time unless it's connected to your life somehow as well as complaining about your parent when they were young and how you are being raised.

My grandparents died before I was born, so I'm not really sure what to go off of here. I'd say that they should spoil me and make me good food.

The one who's not afraid to slap you across the head for being a smart ass.

And being kinda racist, not because she is, but because that's the time she grew up in, and she doesnt go back on her words, and it's just funny Baba you can't say that xD but I laugh anyways .

Must be the best cook in your family. Hands down, my mom still learns from her.

I had 2 Grandmothers (like many people these days it seems) ...

The first would sit me down as a child, comb my hair, take to her walker and attempt to bake cookies or muffins for my friends and I, watch cartoons with me, read to me, listen to music with me (possibly the only 75 yr old fan of Elvis, The Beatles and Kiss at the time ... who barely spoke a word of English).

The 2nd refused to be called Grandma (thought it made her sound too old), wanted the kids out of her hair so she could talk to her friends and hit on guys, ran around with married men and stole money from her own kids.

I think it's obvious why the first was Grandmother material and the 2nd was far from it.

I never met one of my grandmothers, she died of an illness before I was old enough to remember her.

The other was.. religious. Very religious. Her cooking was so terrible it's become an urban legend. I'm pretty sure her cookies were banned under international law by the Geneva convention. She'd telephone regularly and spend hours lecturing me on things that I, or others, were going to spend all eternity being tortured in hell for.
