Your confusion is adorable, but I fear I am messing with you for amusement's sake. >.>

Wouldn't need one, I can already type without looking at one. Our teachers back in sixth grade forced us to learn typing by putting covers over the keyboards and for about 4-5 months I typed once a week for an hour without looking at it. Now it's second nature and I am the fastest typer in my department. At the time I thought it was a stupid waste of time, but 15 years later I can say it really did pay off

In regards to OP a blank keyboard would be great to practice or just get a cover that latches underneath the keyboard so you can't see the letters on the keys, it does work.

On a standard keyboard there isn't a problem. Would only have problems using some of the special keys. Have been a touch typist since I was 12 years old. I have been tested at around 120 wpm and 15000 strokes on the 10 key. When I went to school for accounting and computers. I took a brush up course in typing, used the old IBM selectra. Found out I would out run it.

I'd be 90% accurate with letters, But numbers and DEFINITELY symbols would be an issue for me.

I can use both the English and German keyboards.
German keyboard for those who don't know what is different. The main issue for me was the change of the y and z keys.
