Well, that was a thing. Pretty simple plot. I almost feel it was going to be a short but some how got made into a full length.

Not great, not bad. I've certainly seen much, much worse. I find myself enjoying the art style. A definite break from the same-same-y-ness of most anime. In fact its rather simple style feels like a throwback to the anime of yore before CG and eyes that take three days to draw took over.

It'll make a nice to anime to watch when I'm exercising.

Loving the art style and overall presentation. Like many others, I'm not sure where this is headed. The only way to find out is to keep on watching!

The characters are quite fun oddballs.

I was thinking I might really like this one going in but, after watching Episode 1, I can't really say I'm there yet. In some parts, it just feels like it's trying to hard to be "lol random" and cute in a Flip Flappers style way except without the hook or intention that Flip Flappers had. There are some interesting things here to grab on to and I do think the art style translates quite well into animation but it's just missing that special something so far. I'll give it some more time but I can't say I'm looking at this one as a guaranteed full season watch just yet.

This feels like one big advertisement for a mobile game. This show epitomizes the 'dafuq, Japan' meme.

What a *mess*. The only good thing about it were the sweet, sweet ending credits - because that meant you'd soon be free of the bad animation, annoying voices, and psychotic colors.

Dropped like a hot potato.

Episode 2

And the WTF-ness of the show just keeps increasing. There's that wall that blocks signals and can repair itself, all while Mari can only think about eating popcorn when they can only eat donuts. And then the Scoopers attack again with a barrier used to create a hidden Harajuku in Urahara. This Scooper shoots popcorn and just when it looked like it was invincible, they shot it during the moment it gets hot, and that thing turns into a storm of popcorn, and now Mari gets what she wants. Well, the weirdness just keeps piling up and I'm not sure what to think anymore. I'll give it one more episode, I guess.

Mm, I'm starting to get used to the visual style of this anime now.

Some of the themes in this show feels surreal although the anime itself is very lighthearted. It seems this episode/show is still making Scoopers the main threat of the series.

The idea of strange creativity made by the imagination of the girls also seems to be a recurring element from this episode too. Really curious to see how far this anime will capitalize on that.

Gonna have to drop this one.

This show is really close, though. It has the aesthetic and atmosphere down, but the way it presents itself via narrative and direction is sort of typical. I really want to like this, but there's just something that won't allow me to.

Anyone else giving this a drop?

Seems like that shrimp knows more than it says? Still not sure if this goes anywhere.
I wonder if that weird guy from the first episode returns at some point.

The way they turn their seemingly sentient enemies into sweets and just eat them as a reward creeps me out somehow though.
I'll still continue this for now.

Yeah they didn't notice the little eyes on the donuts? ( The popcorn flavors did sound good though) one thing is for sure at this rate they'll all have diabetes.

I don't know I enjoy the unique visual style but that's really all the show has going for it. The girls aren't really endearing or anything, there seems to be hints of a plot, the dome was unexpected, but not really, who knows maybe they pull a Magica Madoka but next week is definitely a make or break episode for me.

Episode 3

Just when they thought that they were the only ones left in Harajuku, it's still live as ever, and for all the trouble, the girls are getting free crepes from Sayumi. So Rito decides to draw on the wall, and the Scoopers are after that. They deploy Urahara and turn the aliens into macarons, but some of them are turned to something else called a Shirako. So with the aliens defeated, Rito completes the drawing of her house, and it's a hit. Man, this show just keeps on getting weirder that I don't know what to think about it anymore. Anyway, nothing doing once again.
