Ok first episode, I've seen a ton of different romance series and this feels like a lot of others. But... that's not necessarily a bad thing in my books. Anyways, kinda interested in how the main guy and main girl are going to act around eachother.

Among other things, I'm a camera and photography geek... and what started as comment about Ena and her photography grew into an entire blog post....

Didn't really know much about it going in... from the unsubbed trailer I saw I thought that Natsume would be the transfer student. Curious to see the history between MC and her, but also if there are other happy/tragic reunions by Mc attending this school.

Episode 2

And now the friends go out to the aquarium as Eita and Mio go together with Haruto and Hazuki, while Mayuko also shows up while the Morikawa sibling just couldn't resist. Pretty much, it's all about having a great time together, all as they ponder their futures. Initially it was set up to be a date, but they couldn't have that with the kids tagging along. Anyway, that was pretty nice to see everybody getting along.

This one has been a real stand-out so far for me this season. There's something about the mellow-but-energetic atmosphere of it that makes it seem more "real" than most other anime. The characters are endearing and fun, but not in a way that their behaviour feels like a string of gags. It's all so smooth and natural, like spending time with friends in real life. It's only two episodes in, but it's consistently made me smile in those two episodes, so I have high hopes.

The realism and pacing of this show really pleases me. Character relationships are slowly developing too and in the future, I'm guessing we'll get more private dates (rather than group)

Really solid second episode. I'm really enjoying how this one is coming together. Could be the stand out romance of the season.

I'm really liking this show so far. The character designs are top notch and so is the voice acting.

Funny how mains are newcomers and already better than Asta from Black Clover.

Yeah, a little off topic here, but I think a lot of that gets pushed a little too hard on the VA as well. It ignores all of the people around the VA and just puts everything on their shoulders. In reality, if the VA wasn't doing what the director/producer/etc. wanted then they would tell them so, and that's even more true if it's a rookie VA that they hired presumably after doing an audition with this same voice. I think it's pretty safe to assume at this point that the show runners for Black Clover want Asta to be a (very) loud annoying typical shounen MC.

I feel bad for him then. I thought he did good when he was speaking in a more subdued tone. Like when he was second guessing himself and his rivalry. But man... why do they want him to be so loud? I guess it's not all his fault though as you said.

Anyways. Just noticing a lot of new voices this season. Seems like studios are experimenting a bit more. I am glad they took a chance on this show. It's really good so far imho.

Absolutely. I may watch a lot of anime now but I've only really come back into it in the last few years. Even given my relative inexperience in "modern" anime I'm still finding a lot of cases where I'm hearing a lot of the same voices again and again and again. It's definitely nice to see (hear?) more new talent getting their breaks.

No. You are absolutely right. There has been quite a bit of "same voice" lately.

Tbh, I think this is one of the most underrated shows of this season.
