The ink cartridges that came with the printer didn't last long so i was about to refill them at the local costco. I didn't know the local Costco will not refill this particular ink cartridge # 902 (for now anyway).

Anyone here refill ink cartridges ? DIY or have a shop do it or just buy new ones?

I usually have a shop do refill it. I used to buy new ones, but one time I had bought one and the little paper on top was scratched, because when I started up my printer it gave me an error message saying that the ink was counterfeit or basically stolen. Store refused to refund me because they didn't believe me.

I buy a new printer every time it runs out of ink. Cheaper than buying the ink

Stop using a printer.

Overpriced garbage.

Ink doesn't last forever, in some way shape or form it is exposed, so you are forced to use it right away.

Just go somewhere for copies or actual printing

My home office is paper free.

On the rare occasion where I do need to print or photocopy something I either pay to do so at the library, an office supply store, or do it at the office on the sly (yes, I'm a monster).

I bought no name ink that is compatible with my printer on Amazon for $10. I also bought refillable cartridges and will buy bulk ink later.

I refill my ink cartridges. Buying a new printer would be cheaper since I use an inkjet printer but it is wasteful.

I've been using a laser printer for a few years now. I'd assume I'd just buy a new toner cartridge once I make it through the remaining few thousand prints I have left.
