This is indeed one of my favorites. It has a special place in my heart. It introduced me into the world of subbed anime when all I was watching before were dubbed ones. ::*laughs*:: Ah, the good old days. ^^ I really wish, hope , and pray that they finish this series...one day. It would have been a masterpiece if they had been able to finish it I think. I wish they had gone on with the original plan for 68 episodes instead of waiting for the author to write more, but then again, I can see why they would want to do that.
Also I hear a rumor that the production is just halted until the author of the novels writes more, so that they can get more information...or something along those lines. I dearly hope that is the case and that the author will hurry up! She needs to get back to working on the series!

The novels are now finished. So lets all hope and pray they decide to continue.

This is definetely in my Top 5 Favs and I have watched ALOT of anime. It was very addicting and not clique or anime-like at all. A masterpiece if you ask me. However while it would be TOTALLY awesome for Junni Kokki to continue, I doubt they will make more anime episodes. The novel is much more in depth then the anime but the novel is a good bit different from the anime. I think they are going to focus of creating the novels more so then another anime. As of March 11, 2008 only 2 Volumes in US will be out and they only release a novel every YEAR and I hear there are like 8 novels so I wouldn't expect to much hoping for more anime, but the books are awesome!

Me too! Although the twelve kingdom doesnt have as good animation compared to the new animes, the plot and character developement just simply fabulous. Seriously one of the most underrated animes globally. Hope they continue the animation!

the legendary anime. i've seen tons of anime (too much anime) and everything seems to have the same plot, twists and what not. this anime is truly fresh, original and really good. granted it's very talkative and lots of conversation but ithis anime has the best character development and plot. It's good enough to make me buy the dvd box set even after I watched it on the internet (for collection purpose lol)

it's not the best anime i've seen but i liked it, the story is very interesting, it's a journey, the girl was far from perfect in the beginning but she learned more and more along the way. it's an anime that you don't forget easily because it has some deep meanings. i'd love to watch similar anime but so far i didn't find any
