Anyone else feel sad for the villain?

I mean it's obvious he always had mental issues and only care if his friends lived and about then but it seems turning into a robot made him feel not human.

Whilst the old man found that humanity and cried when he saved someone the boy who didn't care about human lives of others before (i have been like that when i was mentally ill) went to killing just so he could feel.

Don't get me wrong he is a serial killer and an awful person but i honestly feel he wouldn't be doing that kind of stuff if he was still human and felt human.

I feel like it was written so the new body was the trigger that sent him off the edge.

So for that i feel sorry for him but also hate him (i have felt sorry for killers before due to their pasts so maybe i'm messed in the head for being able to have empathy for real or fake villains).

The old man's way of coping is health asf and badass.

Nah, I mean I get where he's coming from with what he said as a kid. But it's pretty obvious he's always felt this way imo.

this anime is in my top 5 for the season. I actually really enjoy it. I like the hero and the villain and I like the art as well (really fits the tone of the show).
this ep was great. it showed more of their power and now I fully understand why the aliens said it could destroy the world. cant wait for the next ep. BANG!

I started reading the manga but I haven't gotten to where how that kid got his transformation as well.

The difference between the 2 is that one has morals and the other doesn't .One value life and the other doesn't although the young man is loyal to his friend no matter what.

Also the voice actor for Hiro who is an actor is Nijiro Murakami , he really sound the same as Miyano Mamuro, he was Jintan in the Ano Hana live action TV

I disagree. Both of them are doing what they do to prove they're still human. Inuyashiki came from a very moral background where emotions are important so he strives to maintain that. The boy started off being a pyschopath which is a human condition so now he's not got more power to prove that since he has no limitations now.

For some strange reason, the intro scene of episode 2 was cut from the Amazon version of the episode.

This. Inuyashiki is about what would happen if particular humans gained the powers of gods and the duality of human nature. Beyond some techno powers these guy are 100% believable people, it just happens that they both have rare conditions.

I liked this new 3rd episode the best so far. The pacing stopped feeling overly frantic, the direction felt much more in control (for the most part) and there wasn't even that much cg animation. Also there were kitties. Anime of the year.

Episode 4

And the brutality continues. Samejima, I sure hate that scumbag for what he is doing to Fumino. But what Inuyashiki did to Samejima and all of his yakuza bastards was even more brutal. Justice has been served as Fumino definitely deserved to live a happy life with Satoru, not to live as that shithead's sex doll or whatever he had planned. Note to villains: mess with anybody and they will have to answer to Inuyashiki and it's not going to be pleasant.

Episode 4

This episode has to do with Samejima who's part of the yakuza and is interested in a certain girl. We are than introduced to Fumino who has been going out with Satoru for a year and plan to get married and start a family. If only that was easy but unfortunately Samejima sends his men to kidnap Fumino as he is taking a liking to her and wants her as his woman. Fumino wakes up naked in a hotel room and finds out that she was drugged. When Samejima shows up ready to have his way with her she fights back and manages to get away. She runs back to Satoru but things aren't that easy as Samejima comes to get her and even strangles Satoru in front of her. Just than Inuyashiki shows up and beats everyone in the room and goes after Samejima. He puts Samejima in tough spot that he had to shoot him in order to knock him out. When Inuyashiki wakes up he revives Satoru and heads to where the yakuza are located. Once he arrives he takes care of Samejima first before taking on the whole group. After he finds the location of Fumino and brings her back to Satoru.

Did he also blow out their ear drums as well or was it just that he removed their eyes.... It seemed like he may have made them deaf considering they didn't respond to him talking.
