Hideyoshi isn't a trap. Hideyoshi is a Hideyoshi.

So as "jigaboo", but depending on the audience and the context and a lot of other variables, most people just shrug it off. Honestly, I asked and called some black people "jigaboo" as a "social experiment", and most of them don't even know what the word meant; and this is a word that was in par with "nigger" back in the past. This "thought policing" and PC culture are getting too annoying. And perpetuating the "taboo" and "stigma" of the word just makes it worst.

Well. Whatever. This "victim"-hood game is just getting annoying with some people.

But yeah. This:

Well damn. Guess I was gonna post here sooner or later. In regards to "trap" being offensive, it's only an offensive term when directed at actual people, which 99% of the anime community who use the term don't do. Hyperbole? Probably. Even then, there are people who call themselves such, but that's literally beside the current point. Trap in reference to a 2D anime character isn't offensive to anyone, as it just somehow became the English translation of the Japanese term "Otokonoko," in the anime community.

Well, tucking the seriousness away... A top 5? The one on my profile sure as hell ain't accurate, and I only ever know for certain my top 2, so I'll actually have to think, somewhat.

1. Aizawa Kizuna from Prunus Girl.

2. Ruka Urushibara from Steins;Gate

3. Daruku Hoshino from Nanana's Buried Treasure

4. Mariya Shidou from Maria†Holic

5. I can debate with myself who number five is all day, and still not come to a decision. Astolfo? Saika? Megumu? GGO Kirito? Kogure from Secret Devil-chan? Jun Fucking Watarase, whom I find to be the worst offender of "Draw a girl and call it a guy?" Fuck it. They're all number 5.

My favorite trap was Felix until I saw Astolfo.

So as "jigaboo"

OK! Just making sure you weren't being accidentally offensive (or grammatical.). Carry on,

Are there even 'traps' that people don't like? That seems impossible.

It just means someone who cross-dresses.

hardly offensive. I know a few crossdressers who use the Term for themselves.. anything is offensive if someone takes offense.

that's it though. the offense is taken not given. it all implies on you the person. if you take offense that's fine but unless it was directed as an insult than your reaction is illogical and childish

It means someone who is trying to entrap the unsuspecting. It's pushing a narrative onto them that has been used to justify violence against them.

Oppressed groups often use offensive terms amongst themselves. That doesn't give you license to do so.
