As I was scrolling through crunchy I came across this message below.

Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region.

What does this mean? Crunchy has some series that can only be played in some regions of the world?

Yes, most shows are region restricted. That being said here in the states can get access to almost all titles although I'm sure there is a handful that we cannot watch.

Dog Days season 3 is locked to Asia only.
Familiar of zero series' I believe is locked to part of Europe/South America.
Those are the only ones that spring to mind.

A company has probably taken the license for the anime in question, meaning, they have exclusive rights (Depends on the license) for distribution of said anime in your area. Depending on the license agreement this could be done purely in the form of Blu-ray discs or a streaming website.

Crunchy would like to stream everything in all regions but the production companies control the distribution rights.
