Had an update to Windows 10 couple of days ago and since then the Windows 10 app seems to be unable to start streaming, just has an endless loading screen.

It seems like there's a server-side issue with the app.
I can confirm the same problem is happening to me.

Couldn't ever watch My Hero Academia without the plug-in stopped responding.

When i had Windows 10 i used the UWP app all the time but stopped when the player couldnt even play videos in fullscreen.

Yes its when that lousy update was out in the wild, i just downgraded back to 8.1.

This issue only started in the last week.

I can confirm I'm experiencing the same issue currently despite having been using the Windows 10 and Windows Phone 10 apps since they were launched without issue.

Web browser access is working fine.
Android version is working fine.
Amazon Fire version is working fine.

Windows 10 version fails to load any videos, just gets stuck on the spinning dots.
Windows Phone 10 version fails to load any videos, just gets stuck on the spinning dots.

Additional testing:

Xbox 360 version is working fine.
Wii U version is working fine.
PS4 version inexplicably requires an active, paid, PSN account so I'm unable to test. FFS really? XD

Chiming in as someone who is also having problems with the Windows 10 app.

Works fine from my android, my Roku media player, and my browser, but my Win 10 app is dead as door nails.

oddly, it seems like the loop includes your IP address. I did some testings using a different IP aka "changed my IP by various means" and the app worked like a charm, with the usual bug on catalog scrolling.

That's really weird...

Same here, Windows 10 pc and windows 10 mobile.
It just does not begin to stream the media, it loops the loading but nothing.

Good call... I hopped onto a VPN and problem solved, very odd indeed. I'd rather not use a VPN to stream video though, it's such poor quality and it risks getting the account banned. Good for troubleshooting though.

Disconnect the VPN however and the problem returns.
