I'm going as a member of the Night's Watch from Game of Thrones... although in my case the costume is actually for a themed wedding ceremony I will be attending in November. Assuming the costume gets here in time I'm going to use Halloween to test it out and make sure it fits.

Ok, FINALLY figured out how to upload a picture. (had to remove the $ sign)

Going as Marisa Kirisame from Touhou 16, Hidden Star in 4 Seasons.

3 reasons.
1, MASTA SPARK! nuff said.
2, A lot easier to make then Clownpeice. Ain't no way I'm going to attempt to sew 2 halves of a dress vertically out of 2 different cloth fabrics. Instead, I am using a base dress and adding on the parts from there.
3, Our Halloweens are COLD AS FUCK! Last year, I dressed up in a full body onesy of Olaf from Frozen, but I replaced his head with Jack Frosts from Shin Megami Tensei. It was nice and warm. This should be warm too, with multiple layers, scarf, gloves, and thick wool socks.

(Note, warm enough. Still gonna feel the chill in the small space between the dress and socks. I'll survive though, the thoughts of candy and the rush of blood from embarrassment should help. )

No; where I live cosplaying for Halloween isn't worthwhile. The "Halloween event" is only between 4-7 p.m. and the cops tend to hop on anybody wearing a costume outside of those hours rather quickly unless you're at a private party or a private business with their own event.

Dam. Sucks to be you!

I always hated it when people say Halloween is for kids, then take their kids to this uber safe wimpy cummunity versions, like our trunk or treat. While me and my friends go out to almost midnight walking around and having fun, and ain't scared of no crazy crooks or silly razor blades.

If a cop ever pulled me over for wearing something not normal, I'd tell him 'fuck off normie, I ain't dun nothin wrong.' and walk away, because I didn't do anything wrong.

Note, this is coming from an idiot who walks around in winter wearing ninja masks instead of a scarf and hat, because they are both in one, and are easy to make with leftover cloth fabric from Halloween.

I might be doing an Arthur cosplay.. ?

I mean it's pretty simple and I just need to make the ears and find a yellow sweater and undershirt with a collar.

Could be fun

At first, I thought you meant Arthur from Ghosts and Goblins. I was like, 'wait, don't you need a red beard, a metal helmet, and heart boxers?'

Then I was, 'oh.... THAT Arthur. God I forgotten about that dude.'

I wear cat ears for Halloween every year. That's it. People at work think it's cool and I just don't have the time to do much else other than the trusty cat ears. Technically that's not cosplaying, but it's what I do.

Don't forget Marisa's also a Witch and uses a broom, so its a perfect cosplay to do on Halloween. I'm actually going as one of Marisa's earlier designs for Halloween.

If you are going to Cosplay for Halloween, then what do you plan to cosplay as? Show some pictures too!!!

I am going to Cosplay as Bleach, Squad Captain 6; Byakuya Kuchiki! Costume will arrive in 5 more days!

PLEASE cosplay for Halloween.
If only to give the rest of us some merciful blessed relief from all the thousands and thousands of high-school idiots dressing up like the clown from "It", which we're seriously going to start punching after about the fourth or fifth time we have to open the door.

Show up at my door as Serval-Friend, and I will give you the entire 2-lb. BAG of Reese's Cups.

Lol yeah!

When I was re-reading this it almost sounded like Arthur Kirkland from Hetalia too.

So to clarify: the kid show, Arthur.

That is secret reason 4, but that is obvious as hell.

But at least it beats explaining to normies who Marisa is.

"she is an ordinary magician." Boom, all they need to know.

I'll just be handing out treats,... but I plan to wear my Ginoza (from Psycho- Pass) cosplay while doing so. ...Not that anyone in my town is likely to know who I am but... that's kind of normal since there are more rednecks than nerds around here.
