Bestbuy has buy one get one half off. None of the games i want are on the list but they are all sold out. These new games have 1 thing in common

This is the current trend of gaming... all the games on this list have microtransacdtion/loot boxes.. this is why gamers are sick and tired of it by now..

i'm sure you noticed the trend with metacritic reviews .. green vs red ? i guess when these critics have their hands deep inside these game companies' pockets.. the only review they can release would be positive

they delayed Far Cry 5 recently. i'm betting on they are planning to find a good way to add lootboxes without having to ended up like EA and battelfront 2

I believe the problem with EA is that they are awful at managing their games' budgets because they still don't understand they are working with videogames, supposedly they invest a lot in advertisement, however they see and promote their franchises as if they were films, on that sense they have shown to make unreasonable expectations, hoping to sell tens of millions of units in a summer blockbuster fashion with often unfinished products while not planning for a long-term support.

While sometimes they have been succesful using this pattern is too often a hit or miss, hopefully it seems like they have learned the lesson with Battlefield 4, although the fact they still sell gameplay-affecting microtransactions show they are still not totally aware of what target audience they are working with.

the horses are out of the barn now. They can't change their mind. I've heard sales for Battlefront II are horrible though.

there have been 2 Star Wars MMOs so far and both failed horribly

the sale was not that bad for Japan region.. I think they sold 49K the first week and then 10K the 2nd week. with famitsu score of 33/44

but a loss of 3 billion in stock value will cause them to make changes for sure. The consumers weren't as gullible as they thought....

EA's day of reckoning is here after 'Star Wars' game uproar, $3 billion in stock value wiped out

Like a whole lot of other people who held off getting SWBF II, there's no way I'm getting that game unless EA officially announces that it would get rid of pay-to-win in that game for good.

The game was on sale for $40 at Target a 2 weeks ago. I would just rent if you want to know first hand what the fuss was about. They made various updates though so the game is a bit better then what it was during the early access era..

it's $0.99 so i'm not sure how lower they can get. I looked through the games on stream and the so called "discounts" is misleading.. The price will drop over time so listing a game with 50% off when the actualy price of the game is already at that price for months everywhere else is false advertisement imo

TBH it is kinda disappointing I have played and owned a copy of Dead Space on PC and for EA to shut down the company is unforgivable.

more BS about Battlefront II is the fact that the singe player story was incomplete and will be finished in DLC...how more scummy can EA be?

games as a service is the goal for these companies + a new game every single year

let see how long it will take for people to get tired of it...even for hardcore fans of the series-- rise and repeat...
