What's your favourite Anime from the Crunchyroll Japanese passport promotion? I would have to say The Ancient Magus' Bride - The animation and colouring is amazing and it was very weird (in a good way) - The Japanese voice acting on it is so good too.

Magus and MMO Junkie are both excellent. At this moment it's impossible for me to say which I prefer given that they're both so different.

Urahara, Juni and Kino are all decent to very good, but just aren't totally clicking with me in various ways. Juni is, as of the most recent episode, potentially on the downward slide.

Food Wars is supposedly good but I watched a bit of the first season and just didn't care for it so haven't really watched since.

Black Clover and Dies Irae are just, well, not good. Maybe they appeal to their core audiences but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

Yeah I liked Urahara, so insane haha.

Food Wars - I was not a fan at all - But it did make me hungry! - For some reason this anime is not updating on my passport (I let it run through on my TV a second time in the background, still no luck)

I've watched them and didn't get a notification that I've been entered? but I found them all pretty good actually, a few I wasn't prepared to start but since I was watching the first episode I was like not. why not have something to do this fall. I was with The Ancient Magus' Bride before the passport thing, I'm super enjoying that one and feel I might have to buy that once it's released. Black Cover is alright, but I'm not really impressed with Dies Irae, it's alright, but nothing I'm going to watch it when it appeals, but I'll get to it. it's like I'm watching another nazi ripoff or something. even started up one I didn't ever considered was food wars, seems interesting so thanks to the passport I actually started watching a few I'd probably never watched in the first place, so something came of it at least if I've not been entered and what not.

Juni Taisen by far, I just love the way they tell each episode, and how very little is explained. I love the way the story is told, other than that Dies Irae also caught my attention, and I want to watch it soon. I saw the episode 0 and it was very interesting. But I didn't like Kino's Journey which is too bad because it seemed interesting, hadn't ever heard of the earlier version. And none of the other shows caught my interest enough to try out.

I will certainly keep with it - From just the one episode it was hard to put my finger on. Although that bunny character was so freaky! Quite cool.

The Ancient Magus's Bride. Kino's journey is also good.

Uraraha was... hard to watch. Don't plan to give Juni Taisen another go either. Food wars is something I would've been watching a long time ago except I'm not cool with how it puts the porn in "food porn". Maybe with judicial use of the skip function it might be watchable?

MMO Junkie had a good first episode, but I'm not sure yet if it's something I'll stick with. Black Clover and Dies Irae were... not the greatest, but I'm going to see if they get any better since I hear the source material is good?

Dies Irae - I love my unique fantasy idea stories (Like 11 eyes, though I got sick of that one). Oh, and Juni Taisen. I am watching Kino's and Black Clover, but those are either soso or I'm bored enough to watch this anime.

Magus and MMO are my favorites thus far. Beautiful animation aside I love hearing about fairies and other lore from Britain, and I think the relationship between the heroine and her magus master/groom to be is heartwarming. MMO hits home to me - a little harder than I'd like given my current life right now - but the budding love story going on between the two main characters via their MMO avatars is adorable AF. Also the opening theme for MMO is definitely going on my iPhone playlist when I can get it. Was watching both shows before I even got my passport.

The only other one I've seen is Urahara, which is a little... no, a lot WTF but at least it's cute and colorful.

At least you only need to watch one show to get the passport stamp. I'll probably watch Black Clover tomorrow.

Juni Taisen is a fairly interesting show with a great writer behind it (so I do expect it to become something more then it currently is.) MMO Junkie is fairly light and fun, Kino's is just as good as the original anime if not a bit better and of course Ancient Magus bride is fantastic. The others on the list I don't really care too much about.

Black clover is a bit meh thus far, Dies Irae is basically a Light Novel anime, Food wars is a joke that has gone too far, and Urahara is just strange (not in a good way).

Frankly, I'm probably in the minority here. But of the eight, my top two would be The Ancient Magus' Bride followed by Kino's Journey - The Beautiful World. Of the other six, well... four of the six suck rocks big time (Black Clover, Urahara, Dies Irae and Juni Taisen: Zodiac Wars), while the other two (Recovery of an MMO Junkie and Food Wars III) are only a "meh" level with me.

Your mileage may vary, keep out of the reach of children, if condition persists take two aspirins and don't bother calling in sick.

If you just started watching it, the first episode pretty much sets the high bar for that stuff.

I do miss the use of visual discordant notes, like a gorilla in your hot spring.
