At Kyon’s accidental suggestion, she decides to create her own club dedicated to finding and observing life's oddities—like the aliens, espers, and time travelers she believes walk among normal people.

Now, Kyon and a ragtag group of recruits are Haruhi's right-hand men in the newly formed SOS Brigade. But all is not what it seems. The quiet bookworm? Alien. The busty sophomore? Time-traveler. The handsome transfer student? ESPer. And the biggest surprise? They’re all there because Haruhi herself has the ability to reshape the world as she sees fit. Maybe Kyon should have joined the literature club...

Wait, what order is this? I only watched the very first broadcast, which had "The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina" as episode 1, but here it looks like episode 25. I guess it's been long enough to qualify for rewatching, so maybe I don't need to peel apart what is what.

As I've been going through the Monogatari series, going through the broadcast order seemed most natural, and how I watched the first Haruhi series. It'd be cool if they could somehow do multiple entries on the show page for the orders similar to how other shows may be split by season.

I hope we're getting the cute shorts too.

The license Funimation took out probably does not read "Nordic Countries", but "Scandinavia". By general definition Finland is not part of Scandinavia, so it's also not part of the license.

"The episodes for this series were intentionally not broadcast in chronological order. Hence why at the end of episodes, the next announced episode number did not always match. Usually, Haruhi would announce it only to be corrected by Kyon. This leaves two different options of viewing: chronological order or broadcast order.

For the broadcast order/comparison between the two:

I recommend broadcast order. I think the story actually works better that way, or at least the character arcs. But skip the middle six of the endless eight. NOT WORTH IT.

The only sad part is there's no Nyaron included this time Still happy to have this back even if it is in chronological order rather than broadcast order. I find it kind of funny that season 2 is in the middle.
