Anyone notice on steam that they're charging like £15 or more for an entire season of one anime when I can buy subscription and watch unlimited for only £4.99? I'm like WTF if people buy it they're plain dumb.

I don't think it's dumb if it never expires then IF CR looses the show for streaming here you should still be able to watch it.
Also it's provided by CR for the most part http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-986427/crunchyroll-on-steam-faq So awkward

But I'm pretty sure people will use free streaming sites to watch old shows anyone if the licence expires on Crunchyroll. I just feel it's kinda a rip off because the videos surely aren't going to be in Blu-ray quality, so you're basically paying for Crunchryoll streams instead.

So why would I buy these titles off of steam when I have sub to crunchyroll? What would have been awesome is that they offered us a way to link the accounts but, I have not discovered that option. If they think I am going to do that here then they are sorely mistaken. I will just go watch it for free.

i bought episode 15 of Re:Zero on Steam because I love it a lot, and it was like half a dollar during the summer sale. Kind of pointless like you say, but I just wanted to own the episode.

I've closed this thread since there's already a recent thread regarding buying Crunchyroll anime titles on Steam for streaming. Please share your thoughts there:

They clearly are up in arms about it and do not want people talking about it

Umm... do you own the files on your own computer? Can you... click on the files... Can you... USE THAT TO FOOL THE SYSTEM INTO THINK YOUR JOJO'S IS LEGIT, EVEN IF YOU PIRATED THE UNCENSORED VERSION LIKE A BOSS!

Dam, sorry, the second thing I do after buying a new video game is look at the game files and see what I can possibly fiddle and fuck around with.

But seriously, fuck censorship.
If it really is too fucked up for people to watch, people won't watch it. But that is an impossibility if anybody has ever browsed the internet for more then 5 minutes. (there is no such thing as too fucked up to watch.) maybe for some, but definitely not for all.

Besides, I want them to uncensor a dog getting brutally murdered. It makes the bad guys seem even more bad!

I don't pay for crunchyroll anymore and I'd actually prefer to always have the anime I like at a cheap price always available for streaming on steam. Now if only they had the uncensored versions in steam instead.

Makes no sense to me, if I am buying anime it's going to be in DVD/Blu Ray format.
