Yeah, that is not a part of the market that Crunchyroll is set up to cater to. It makes sense for someone with those preferences to only subscribe for long enough to catch up on the limited number of available dubs.

Question. Why are there going to be International dubs for these shows when we still don't have English dubs? I do not intend to sound rude, but wouldn't it be a more logical business decision to offer English dubs first, seeing as a large segment of the target market for Crunchyroll speaks English?

I would assume it's just something they wanted to do for some time and they just happened to get licenses to produce those dubs. Licenses to broadcast are one thing, licenses to dub are another, and if I'm not mistaken you have to get licenses for every language you want to dub the series to. It could be that Crunchyroll got the rights to produce a Spanish dub but someone else has the rights to the English one.

If luck would have it we could have gotten international dubs from series that already have an English version, it just wasn't the case in this one.

And also, Spanish dubbed anime has been a rarity in Mexico and Latin America for a really long time now. Apart from Dragon Ball, Pokémon and the occasional movie on theaters, anime is just not dubbed anymore. It had it's boom in the early 2000s but now is almost non-existant. We don't even get a broadcast on TV, be happy you still have Toonami over there.

Crunchyroll saw an untapped market and is taking advantage.

Well it would be nicer if the whole catalogue was available for everyone, but international Dubs are sweet to

If this is going to be a new thing where the site picks up a bunch of international dubs on shows, I really think the coding should be reworked so that when you click on a series the original Japanese sub version is the one that opens up first. Options are great, but the majority of the people that use this site do so for the subtitled anime, so it would be nice if that was the default. You also really need to add next to the original subbed version that it is subbed because newer users may be confused when they open a page to see a bunch of different languages listed and one blank one at the bottom.

Yeah, the chronological-by-date-added order isn't ideal in this case. And there are always people who don't notice a Season 1 below Season 2 - sure, they should look harder, but site design is supposed to be intuitive for everyone.

I'm certainly curious about the German dub for Schwarzesmarken as that show is set in Germany. Anyway, it's good to see that Crunchyroll is doing this as a test drive. I'm hoping to see Schwarzesmarken and Rokka dubbed in English someday, and while I could see it happening for Schwarzesmarken, it's unfortunate that Pony Canyon called the shots for Rokka to forgo it. I understand that it tanked really badly in Japan, but still it was solidly received outside Japan.

Are these website only? I've tried on both my Xbox 360 and Android Phone and they said content unavailable but when I use the website the videos start. I would really like to watch some anime in Spanish, it would be a fun exercise to brush up on some Spanish I've forgotten and help me relearn.

In android settings, change your "preferred language" to Spanish(espana), then chose the dub season from the dropdown. Otherwise it says "preparing for your device" if it is set to English.

That's great but why am I seeing these, when, in my settings are set for English. I haven't seen other anime that started (stream/catalog) with multiple language subs that show as many thumbnails. I'm whining because at the start of this season I thought there were a ton of new shows on Thursdays but they were just new subs of shows I've already seen with English subs.

I just wish all anime here have an English dub. that should be enough for international dub for now... for the other languages can be done later. (they even didn't have my country language on the list! LOL)
