Still for me it's Plastic Memories.

But March Come in Like a Lion I am 100% emotionally invested in. Not jsut with feels, but all sorts of emotions.

Plastic Memories just plain makes me sad.

Folks have mentioned the ones I usually would, so...

Chrono Crusade. I don't want to say much, only that it belongs in this thread.

H2O: Footprints in the Sand. Yeah, the animation is dated and the show tries a little too hard with its comic relief, but it's still one hell of a feels trip.

It seems like I mention Sweetness & Lightning every time I post. It's a very cute, lighthearted and adorable show, but every episode drops a few feels on you. Not so much that it loses focus, but it's not nothing, either. I cried at least once every episode, but I'm also very sentimental and relate very strongly to this particular series.

WorldEnd is a very thoughtful, dramatic fantasy series that is refreshingly open and honest about its central romance, and the challenges the characters face are the source of more than a few tears.

Angel Beats gets special mention. It's very weird, and the feels don't kick in until the latter half, but worth watching.

Oh, but WHEN they kick in, it's the express elevator to Feels Hell. At least Clannad and Little Busters let you know pretty much out of the gate what you're in for, but Beats starts out ridiculous, then gets preposterous, and then WHAM.

Charlotte does this, too. "WTF happened to that comedy I've been watching for the last five episodes?"

MMMmmmnn. Sorta.

Charlotte is a better opener than Angel Beats, but a worse closer.

I'll give you that. I shed my tears during Charlotte's tonal shift mid-season, not at the end.

I think it was episode 5 of Kids on the Slope. The princes come home. A really moving episode.

I'm gonna take a guess and say you're a dad. This show resonated with me too, being a father of a little girl myself.

Yep, you nailed it.

Not only that, but when our boy was two years old, my wife was seriously injured and had to stay off her feet for about six months. It was up to me to cook everything, and I had to learn from zero (and, like Kotori, I hate knives.)

Thankfully my wife is fine now, but yeah, that show speaks to me in just about every other way. (I still do most of the cooking!) Our son even loved to help in the kitchen when he was little just like Tsumugi does. He's 17 now, and still likes cooking. He's a better baker than I am.

I'm sure you'll understand this: one of my favorite things about the show? Tsumugi's tantrums. Finally an anime kid that acts like a kid. :D

But yeah. I don't drink anymore, but I'd buy Kouhei a beer if I could.

How old is your little girl? I hope Halloween was fun!

That's a great story, well, not your wife getting injured, but it's always nice to find an anime you can relate to. It can be difficult to find one, but this one totally had me nodding in agreement. Tsumugi's tantrums were spot on. There's the one episode where she goes missing and they're running around trying to find her. I know that dread as a parent. Worst feeling in the world.

My girl is 7 so a little older than Tsumugi, but I remember that age like yesterday. My wife does most the cooking. She's Japanese so we eat a lot of Japanese cuisine. In fact a lot of the dishes they made in the show we eat, so that's another thing I could relate to. Luckily my daughter isn't a picky eater and eats just about everything.... not that she has a choice.

I'd totally buy Kouhei a beer. He seems like a guy I could share a drink with and talk about boring parent stuff. Stay strong you few Parent CR

Ahh gosh, Your Lie in April hit the hardest for me probably because it was the 2nd anime i've ever watched but after that would have to be;

- AnoHana
- Tsukigakirei
- Orange
- Blue Spring Ride
- Golden time (only a little bit)
- Sword Art Online II (Mother's rosario Arc but only a little bit)
- Plastic memories
- Toradora
- Angel Beats

Nothing quite gives me the feels like School Days. One of the first anime I ever watched, quite the roller coaster I must say.

A lot of relatively old long-running ones like Hunter x Hunter, Digimon, and FMA.
Not only because they're good shows, but also because I remember growing up with them.

One of my favorite anime's of all time as well. Cowboy Bebop being the only one I may rank higher since it brought me in to anime

Currently the Ancient Magus' Bride is bringing some feels.

All time winner is Clannad and especially Clannad Afterstory. The SAO Mothers Rosario arc is right up there. So is Your Lie in April, Angel Beats, Orange, AnoHana... List could go on and on.
