speak with your wallet is one thing but i doubt the tobacco companies ended up where they are now if people didn't spread the news about those companies and the effects of their products to the world to know. The spread of information is the best way to raise awareness and action on a global scale. don't buy is good but also spread the words It's the digital age after all.

I think this article summarizes how I feel about Destiny 2 players right now.

You cannot satisfy gamers 100%.
The fact that gamers/consumers are trying to dictate the market and reshape it in their image is kind of a no-win situation for gamers and developers.
As time progresses, you may see more companies trying to appeal to their consumers but the only reason that gamers feel vindicated is because of a "half-win" here or there.
EA stock has a low of 107.02 the last two days but still steadily growing.
They've also released the first story pack for Battlefront 2 that takes place right before "The Last Jedi".

Agreed. You can not have 100% satisfaction from the consumers/customers . I provide customer support/service over the phone so i know this well.

There's also a boycotting going on with the last Jedi movie. I'm sure there will be people who will be hyped to go out and buy the game after watching the movie

I am firmly against microtransactions. AAA gaming has become slaves to publishers and underhanded tactics, treating consumers like a mobile ATM. It's abhorrent. We simply cannot support it.

They have no place in $60 games imo. I have no problem if they're in games that are free, they've gotta make their money back somehow, but otherwise I steer clear of them. There are very few games that I'll actually put up with microtransactions. Off the top of my head Fate Grand Order, Phantom of the Kill, and Battleship: War Girls are the only games I've really put money down on. Panzer Waltz as well, but I don't really play that game much anymore because the grind just got too bad for me.

What do you expect? Apple is in the business to make profits and the 3 billion loss from the Battlefront 2 is an example of a can of worms that they don't want to open.

a lot of things happened over the past few months regarding microtransactions

- EA pulled loot boxes from SWBF 2
- lootbox in shadow of war were removed
- ESRB put some new label on games with virtual gambling mechanics?
- Rainbow siege price hike?
- Metal Gear Survive was pretty bad...full of microtransactions and $10 for a save slot?

etc..
