Device Model: Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (wifi)
Streaming Via: Wifi
Android OS: 7.1.2 - LineageOS 14.1
App Version: 2.1.8.1

Hello,

Due to Samsung seemingly having abandoned the 1st generation tab s (as of yesterday it was still running Android 6), I flashed the latest lineagos image to it to bring it up to date. Since the flash I am unable to stream any content (see below image for error message), and the sort features on the left hand side of the "Anime" tab are distorted (not sure if they are interrelated or not).

Is there an incompatibility issue with LineageOS that I am unaware of?

Thank you in advance for your help

Unfortunately it looks like the image upload feature of this site doesn't work either...

The error message states "There was a problem playing this video. Please try again, or contact support if the problem persists"

There is a known bug that inserts an unneeded "$" into the image string. If you remove it, as I've done in the quote of your message above, the image will display.

I have a Tab 2 9.7, 2016 model (gts210vewifi) running LOS 14.1 with no issues with the Crunchyroll app. Are you running the official LOS release or an unofficial version? I compile mine myself using proprietary blob files from a 3rd party. I've never ran the official release with the CR app.

If you know how, maybe a logcat error report could give me some idea of what the problem is to help you report it to the LOS people. Also, you could try running the Kodi media ceneter with the Crunchyroll plugin and see if it plays. It seems a lot more resilient than the CR app.
