That was sad to see a recap of the first season. Now we only get 5 episodes for the true sequel.

And now, the sequel finally begins.

Episode 8

The Hero Club girls are enjoying their post-hero life, and Sonoko is now a member of the club having also been granted amnesty. Everybody is up to their usual happy antics, and Sonoko is remembering Gin and finally getting to properly mourn her. They hold their stage play, but Yuna tears up in the middle of the performance. As it turns out, the Hero Club had their memories manipulated so that to them, they were never heroes and that Togo is missing from their memories. Togo went off trying to atone for what she did at the end of the first season. Pretty lightheated episode for the most part, but then the ending adds a lot of intrigue as while everybody's fight has finished, Togo's is still going on.

I had a pit in my stomach from the moment that Fu said "everybody is here". I had some idea of what to expect due to the PV from earlier in the week, but I never expected that Togo would have gotten Rem'd.

And now Yuna learns the truth as the flames have been lit that could destroy the world due to Togo breaching the wall, and Togo is makes herself as a sacrifice to stop it as atonement, and knowing that Yuna and company would go after her that Togo asked Shinjyu-sama to erase her from their memories so that wouldn't happen. And then Yuna pulls her out, and while much of her life force was taken, Togo is still standing and the flame is sealed. But now, the burden is Yuna's with that mark. Episode 10

Christmas time is here, and it's a good thing that Togo is there to celebrate together with. But while everybody is having a great time, Yuna is bothered as she's seeing that black mark as a sign of ominous things to come, and indeed she has reason to be concerned. Yuna couldn't stand to tell everybody about it, but then Fu gets hospitalized after getting into an accident. Seeing that those she talked to about her problem got hurt that Yuna decides it would be best to keep that curse mark to herself. Everybody seems to be in good spirits for the holidays, but Yuna is just a wreck.

I just wish they’d let these poor girls live, I understand that’s not the point of the show, but for real. If one of these girls goes down Idk what I’d do. Prolly head to that sick freak shinjusama’s house and knock some sense in to him. For a god or whatever he(it) is he’s pretty useless. Making young girls do his bidding...

I do really enjoy the show tho. The week to week suspense always gets me anxious for Friday’s. I’d totally buy into a straight slice of life show with the girls doing their hero club stuff.

There's a 4-koma manga for that called "Yuki Yuna is a Hero Club Member" which is exactly that. I'd love to see a for-real anime adaption of it.

Episode 9

After the group realizes that Togo has been completely erased Sonoko shows up with the their cellphones. Fu is worried about transforming once again but Sonoko assures her that a new system has been placed and that they don't have to worry about the side effect of going mankai. With this the girls transform and head behind the wall where they get a signal from Togo which is coming from a black hole. In order to reach the black hole Sonoko goes mankai and everybody boards the ship. Once they get close to the black hole they leave it to Yuna to bring Togo back and when she enters she discovers why Togo left. She than pulls Togo from her prison and gets a curse marked placed on her. Once Togo wakes up she is back to normal but Yuna keeps the secret of the mark to herself.

Episode 10

With christmas almost near the Hero club plans to spend christmas together and Yuna is burned by the curse mark on her chest. She tries to tell her friends but when she does she notices that the mark appears on there chest. The next day when everyone shows up to the club they seem to had a small accident. Later Yuna speaks to Fu about the mark but when she did she notices the mark showing up on her again and keeps quite about it. Later when she was walking home with Itsuki she gets hit by a car and has to stay at the hospital for a couple weeks. Yuna than realizes that anyone she tries to talk to about the curse mark get into a accident and than runs away breaking down in tears.

Seeing that they mention the red and blue orge story could be where they are going with the story? It even looks like they came to pick Yuna up so that she can take over Togo place as the sacrifice. It was still painful to see Yuna break down with what has happened to her friends due to the curse mark. Lets see what happens next?

Episode 11

It's a new year and Fu is out of the hospital. These girls are going crazy having a great time together as a club with Yuna pretending that nothing's wrong. But Togo and Karin are onto something, and Togo sneaks into her room having stumbled upon the hero records in her room that provide a clue about why Yuna has been acting strange. The hero club finds out the ugly truth in that their bodies weren't healed but replaced. The reason Yuna kept it a secret was because she didn't want the curse to spread. So now, Yuna's life is ticking away and the girls needs to figure out a way to combat this problem, and fast. That was just painful to watch Yuna suffering so much in agony.
