Whenever I hear one of these words:

Affordable
Neutrality
Children
Fair
Just
Equal

I know I am going to get screwed

That's not even related to net neutrality in any way shape or form. That is comcast being fucking comcast. Only way to stop that is to have the FTC trust bust some of these large ISP's which is what is what is going on. FTC is reclaiming jurisdiction over the internet and can then enforce anti-trust laws on it.

I vaguely remember my fellow crunchies being incapable of paying attention, but how the hell do you even quote the caveat and still miss the idea being spread.

Speaking of Comcast:

I posted that here because it was a news article I found worthy of sharing, but not a topic that I felt would garner more discussion than "herp derp wow comca$t amirite."; therefore, I didn't make a separate thread for it.

You also somehow missed that the second half of the post you snipped from carried a separate link that I so titled as "more relevant" to the discussion at hand.

tl;dr - use your context clues to help you find your blue's clues

Senate voted to overturn the FCC's stance on net neutrality. Still a ways to go but at least we have senate support.

Won't pass House though.

Either Ryan doesn't let it slip by or 45 vetoes it since it's an Obama thing.

That's the issue. It's not impossible though. Regardless of the fact that it has the Boogeyman's name in the anti-control position is traditionally a Republican position. We just need to get through to the ones willing to listen.

I think it has a chance with the house.

That being said, it's important because if it does miraculously make it to the resolute desk, it will speak volumes about our president when he vetoes it despite his motto.

It's not impossible...I mean, I didn't think Kennedy would vote for it...but let's face it:

Anything that helps the consumer or is what people want gets discarded.

You probably won't see changes implemented for a few months if not years... But rest assured, when they figure out how best to ready you for the massive orange wifi dildo without you getting disgruntled, they will.

Yay! Unregulated capitalism!

Everytime I get slow lag, or noticed my video freeze up on 1080p on Crunchyroll I started wondering if it already happening! XD

I'm with the Cox Cable, they haven't said anything or introduce any new yet so far.. I'm hoping it'll stay like this forever.. There a saying if its not broken, leave it alone! >.<

Did you guys/ladies get anything yet? It probably won't be till next year?

I started using proxy to bypass the restrictions. After repealing Net Neurality it's the easiest way to get access to the blocked content. Unfortunately, today Internet freedom is just a myth...
