I've been waiting since mid-late October for a response on my issue playing Fairy Tail Series 1 Episode 129. No matter what, it won't load correctly and any kind of forwarding/rewinding I try sends me to some random clip that says it's the beginning of this episode. Really getting annoyed cause I haven't been able to watch Fairy Tail since then.

P.S. - Yes I answered the automated bit response to my question and it said the problem needs be moved to a technical specialist.

I don't know how long it usually take to fix that kind of a problem. If that was happening when using the player on the website (rather than an app on a devic) then one workaround may be to watch it in another resolution than they one you were using. You don't have to change your default--just pick a different resolution tab below the video.

I'm on the app since Crunchyroll won't work on Chrome anymore (unless they've changed it since I last checked).

I contacted them in early October and they said my issue was being escalated to a specialist. It's nearly December and I haven't heard anything since, despite repeatedly contacting them. From what I can tell their support is absolute garbage!

I don't know if your issue was resolved yet, but if you have a black screen then I had the same issue. I got an immediate response from Crunchyroll and the solution was to "Disable any browser extensions." I had ad blocker enabled and once I disabled ad blocker then the video played normally. Here's the full email resolution:

If you are using our app on a device:
1. On your device: clear your cache and delete any Crunchyroll app data
2. Uninstall the app from the device
3. From your web browser: go to (https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct/?action=devices)
4. Click Unlink and Deactivate on any rows related to the device
5. On your device reinstall the Crunchyroll app.

If you are on a computer viewing from a browser:
Disable any browser extensions. Try more than one browser.
Make sure you have the latest Java and Flash.
Right click on the Flash Player and try toggling 'Video Smoothing' and 'Subtitle Smoothing'.
Make sure Hardware Acceleration is enabled and that you have updated Local Storage to Unlimited.

If you are using Chrome, this has been moved to chrome://settings/search#hardware. Make sure that you have the box checked for 'Use hardware acceleration when available'.

Odd that they state that, given that CR doesn't use Java.
