The first episode is now out: http://www.crunchyroll.com/our-love-has-always-been-10-centimeters-apart/episode-1-spring-first-love-color-of-cherry-blossoms-755157
This is going to be six episodes and focuses on Miou and Haruki as it happens in the same setting as the other Honeyworks stuff.

Episode 1

And so it begins with Haruki and Miou with their first encounter, and they have a lot more in common than just having spring-themed names. Haruki is an aspiring movie director, while Miou is into painting and drawing. Haruki is banking his future on winning the grand prize for some film competition, which gets him in the guidance counselor's doghouse. And there's Miou with the talent, but views drawing as nothing more than a hobby. And thus, they find common ground and fall in love. It's just like the other Honeyworks stuff there, but this one figures to have more depth to it being a half-cour TV series.

Not bad, I like it overall so far and the title for this show fits well for the first episode.

Haruki is the typical outgoing fun guy, the type of character that anyone can get along with easily. Miou is more on the shy side but she's very friendly so it's not hard to make friends with her. I think it's obvious that Haruki and Miou ha some mutual attraction but it'll be interesting to see how their relationship will develop.

Decent artwork and setting so far with the colorful imagery.

that depends on the direction of travel, if they're moving at a tangent to each other they'll never get together ;-)

Liked the first episode, think I'll enjoy this one.

But all lines meet on the horizon in the middle of nowhere.

I can't help but get a Convenience Store vibe from the series. Probably because both have the same seiyuu as one of the lead males. Still, unlike Convenience I'm feeling a much deeper story without falling back on a childhood gimmick. The interactions come off as honest and real, more like Tsuki ga Kirei. Even among the secondaries.

I'm looking forward to seeing where the series takes us.

Is this a usual thing to have a half season show?

It's more of a special 6-episode series.

The franchise previously had two movies.

Episode 2

That's some determination there by Haruki wanting to surpass Aki. And while that's happening, it's summer vacation, but Miou isn't in vacation mode at all. And it turns out that Miou was saved from a grim fate, and she's set to meet the person after Obon. Except that man is dead, Haruki's older brother. That whole being saved part there, that sure does add a big twist to things.

Episode 2 pretty much convinced me that this series' central theme will be love.

The character relationship development between Haruki and Miou is very evident and the two share a mutual attraction. Not to mention, Aki and Sora had some moments together so this anime isn't just about Haruki/Miou.

The revelation about Haruki's brother is interesting. I want to see more of his background story.

good ep. the relationships are all very well done and all the couples are cute and the best thing is that it looks like there will be no love tringles. I think the rhing they did with Haruki's brother is risky and if done wrong can ruin the series. it also feels like it will create unnecessary amount of drama. still, good ep.

What is up with that mom? She never told her daughter the name of the person that saved her, and then she didn't tell her she was taking her to a grave!
