I just finished Naruto, caught up on Dragon Ball Super and Boruto, and I’m on Season 13 of Bleach. Basically watching the shows that I stopped before they finished. I’m not a huge shounen fan, it’s just that I was watching Bleach and Naruto and didn’t want to stop them in the middle… glad i watched Naruto, at least. Loved it. And Boruto is so nostalgic. I grew up watching it… I was Naruto’s age, and now my kids are his kid’s age. It’s pretty cool.

But! I stopped watching anime right after K-ON!!. That’s my favorite anime, the K-ON! series. I love moe. Cute. I have an adorable tattoo of Miku on my right thigh lol. :)

I love music anime… I like comedies and slice of life, but right now I think I’m looking for a real good laugh with some moe or ecchi…

What are some good, newer animes like that, guys? Are there any currently being simulcast that you recommend, or is there anything I missed since K-ON!! back in like 2012 that I missed but should be putting time into watching?

Thanks ahead of time! I appreciate it, guys!

P.S. About Bleach, what chapter of the manga does the anime end? I want to finish the story, obviously, so I’ll continue the manga where it leaves off. I’ll be skipping hundreds of chapters from where I quit, but I’ve rewatched the anime from episode 1 at least.

If you want comedy+cute maybe try some of KyoAni shows. Chunibiyo and other delusions and Myriad color phantom world. Then probaby and definitely Konosuba and Gamers!.

If you liked Naruto and DBZ and like a colorful cast, I highly recommend both My Hero Academia and Haikyu. These are the 2 best shonens imo.

If you want any other suggestions ask away.

Edit: Just thought of Nichijo too. Might want to check that out.

I really appreciate it. I like how condensed the list is; it’s not overwhelmingly large and something I can actually focus on watching all of. Thank you very much! I was wondering if I would get a recommendation for My Hero Academia… If I did, I was going to watch it. I almost decided to on my own. I did love Naruto and DBZ. I still watch DBZ over and over. And I am loving Dragon Ball Super a lot. So happy they came out with that… I remember watching DBZ on cartoon network in 3rd grade when it was coming out in America. Haha.

I've moved this over to the Advice, Info, Recommendations forum.

Definitely watch My Hero Academia!

Have a MyAnimeList Acct so we can see what you have watched so far? You said a few but if I had a better image of your tastes it might help. Either way here is a few

Aho-Girl
kind of a cute comedy. If I remember right episodes are something like 7minutes each?

If you have watched a bit of anime and know much about Otaku culture then "I cant understand what my husband is saying" might be worth your time. Also I believe under 10 min per episode.

InuXBoku
Kind of Moe main character, lots of laughs and IMO qualifies as ecchi(though no actual skin if thats what your looking for)

Lastly NEW GAME I found really enjoyable.

If none of these look like they fit the bill message me with a bit more details and I may find a gem for you. Good hunting!

Minami-ke is a pretty good slice of life comedy that had an additional season in 2013
Daily Lives of High School Boys was pretty hilarious. Not a moe but great comedy
Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! is a moe that was kind of on the heels of K-ON. Probably one of my favorite anime.
Non Non Biyori is probably the most moe anime I've ever seen. About little girls living in a small mountain town.
School-Live! is worth watching. Moe anime meets zombies. Very strange.
Gourmet Girl Graffiti pretty nice food porn moe
The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan is pretty cool slice of life comedy if you're a Haruhi fan already
Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero fun magical girl that has some twists sort of like Madoka Magika but a little less dark
Your lie in April was pretty huge in 2014. Bit of a cry porn anime. But good. It's about music and sad stuff.

Loads more to suggest. 2012-14 were pretty huge years for moe in particular. But I will leave it at that.

For K-On! fans I usually suggest ...
Locodol (Moe/Funny)
Fuuka (Serious but good music)
Wake Up Girls (Similar to Idolmaster)
Bang Dream (very good)
Anonymous Noise (Angsty but love the music)
Angels 3 Piece (Funny and Ecchi)

For fans of Naruto ...
Blue Exorcist has a new season
Seven Deadly Sins
Twin Star Exorcists

For Moe/Ecchi combined ...
Blend S (which is on new this season)
Shomin Sample
My GF is Shobitch
