Hi! I'm looking for some anime to watch, but don't know where to start. If anyone could offer me some recommendations, that'd be awesome.
Here's some anime I've already seen and liked:
Monster Musume (not generally into ecchi but that one was an exception)
Revolutionary Girl Utena
Sword Art Online (a guilty pleasure tbh, would I like Accel World?)
New Game!
Strawberry Panic
Whispered Words/Sasameki Koto (dunno which name it's more well-known by)
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
Classroom of The Elite
Inuyasha
Touhou: Memories of Phantasm
Spice and Wolf
Love Live!

As you can tell, I haven't watched very much. I didn't put every title I've seen on the list because some weren't ones I've particularly enjoyed.
I like yuri/shoujo-ai but I prefer shoujo-ai
No really into shounen
Undertones and overtones in shoujo anime also work for me! Implications of relationships are fine with me

Also based on this list, would I like Neon Genesis? I keep meaning to watch it but I don't want to waste my time with something that won't be enjoyable for me

Except where noted, these should all be on CR.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
Cardcaptor Sakura
Futari wa Pretty Cure
R.O.D
Rolling☆Girls
Sabagebu!
Gatchaman Crowds (different, cool. hajime is the best)
Hunter x Hunter (i know you said 'not into shounen' but it's really good)
Rose of Versailles (strong female lead. a classic, highly recommended)
Blue Drop (shoujo ai, used to be here on CR but sadly not any more)
YuruYuri (i haven't seen it yet, but it's usually highly recommended)
Saki (yuri + mahjong championship battles. it's okay, watchable at least)

Rotten Sushi :: yuri

Neon Genesis Evangelion is considered a classic, I liked it but to me the concept had some flaws. The characters are outstanding. It's a pretty intense sci-fi/action psychological drama.

I honestly also enjoyed SAO and Classroom of the elite is one of my favorites as well.I also loved New Game.
I will recommend some of my favorites
Space Patrol luluco
The Pet Girl of Sakurasou (although i hated the ending)
Toradora
Tsuredure children
Re:Zero
Chronicles of the going home club (something i feel only im into but i really enjoyed it, and got a laugh out of it)

Im also really into the shorter anime. To recommend a couple
Ai-mai-mi
Chitose gets you

Anime this season is good too, watch some of that.

Similar to Monster Musume: (monster girl harem shows)
--------------------------------
Actually, I Am (similar in most ways)
Bakemonogatari (the drama is amped up here)
Rosario + Vampire (its okay, but not nearly as good as the others)

Similar to Spice and Wolf (shows about adults doing real jobs)
--------------------
The Great Passage
Servant x Service (more comedy)
Snow White with the Red Hair (less banter, more romance)

Similar to SAO (mixture of action, harem, romance)
-------
Strike the Blood (bloodier)
High School DxD (MUCH ecchier)
A Certain Magical Index
Accel World (compared to SAO, the romance is less developed and the main character --for better or worse--is less OP; but its similar)

Otherwise, my favorite anime (I watch mostly romance) include:
Toradora!
My Love Story! (Both funny AND satisfying)
Steins; Gate (incredible sci-fi storytelling)
Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (romantic and silly)

A Certain scientific railgun

If you watch it and like it then watch "A Certain Magic Index" to get a broader view that fills in the blanks

Shin Sekai yori(a masterpiece if you ask me) a bit more complex topics but its good.

Also consider Riddle story of Devil

I'll also vote for Madoka Magica and Fullmetal Alchemist. Most of the Gundam series are pretty good.

If you liked InuYasha I would suggest Ranma 1/2 and Urusei Yatsura which were all created by Rumiko Takahashi like InuYasha was.
