Black Friday and Cyber Monday came and went. Most people got their Christmas shopping done already as well. I got my early Christmas gift this year already. It's time to buy something in return as a thank you.

Do you have any plan for this Christmas or New Year ? Travel? work? more shopping?

what did you get ? if you don't mind sharing ?

Work? It's Christmas and New Year. I don't care about other days but Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year are the days I want off from work.

I would like to have national holidays off as well. Work is really slow on those days so it's not worth it logging in for me.

I got a Movado watch (stainless steel model).

I'm difficult type to get gifts for since I'll just decline the gifts 99% of the time if it's something i don't need/want. I accepted it this time around since I'm having some problems with my current watch (10 yr old Citizen Eco Drive). I'm a bit old school--- still wearing analog watch in the era of "smart" electronics

I know I will be working all through the holidays. Both my jobs made me sign a paper saying I would have to give up major holidays in order to come in and possibly even work extended hours if necessary. Tis the evils of having to do whatever it takes in order to support yourself but if I didn't have it I would just be sitting at home by myself anyway.

I'll be seeing family on the 16th, Christmas eve and day. I'm also working at my full time job with a few hours of overtime on the weekends that I'm not traveling. I illustrate my own Christmas cards and hand them out with money. So I'm working on those in my freet ime right now.

As for the new year, tax time offers a lot of extra overtime to work. I'm going to pay of a few student loans and credit cards this year so I want to make the most out of 2018. Hopefully by next Christmas, I'll be in a much better position.

My family decided not to buy each other gifts this year. Instead we are all saving up to take a week long trip to Rome and Greece during the summer. As for plans, I’ll be going home, visiting family, and going out shooting with them.

I'll be eating a whole lot of tamales on December 24th and maybe get some drinks with my friends for New Years.

Still got most of my shopping to do. I'll be working all through Christmas. But not Christmas day. I see my mums side and dads side on different days.
Next year the plan is to start working in a new career. Possibly move house. Possibly invest in a place. We'll see what happens. Maybe holiday.

in the digital age.. analog watches have become luxury type of things.

Did you know that Costco have Rolex watch at their stores ?

I work on Christmas this year. But I have New Years off.

I'll save my drinking for New Years.
