I think its because it doesn't bothered us (White people) that like saying I hate black hair or blue eye and people would be looking at you like you're insane. :p

Think about it, that like someone walk by and call you hairy because you got hair on your head haha. You would be like um..if you're trying to insult me you have failed!

I would think Black people would be to, since the racism is outdated.. Nowdays people look at them as people, not color by skin. Well unless you're from another planet! =0

Then why did you assume I wasn't? You know what they say about assumptions...

More like I lose track of who is where.

Well get out your hoverround, grab your arm extender, and put a 'Murica sticker somewhere on your bumper (profile).

What lack? People haven't been jailed for political opinions since the fifties. and if you think the US is any better dream on.
You really have strange ideas about Canada, we have access to everything you do. This isn't China.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced a bill that would criminalize anti-transgender speech, with violators receiving up to two years in prison.

So you say anything bad about transgender people you can go to jail for 2 years... Having and opinion on a subject that your Prime Minister disagrees with you is as good as a 2 years in jail.
Lets go further on Canada's freedom of speech.
Section 1 of the Constitution Act 1982 gives Canadians the right to free speech, but with " obsessive limits." This ensures that almost anything one says can be considered unconstitutional and subject to legal prosecution. Canada also has issues with Human right violations.

As for the Internet look up anything to do with Nazis and you be marked and investigated, get to many hits from looking up words they don't like enjoy the officers busting into your home. ( I am sure that be fun.)

Sigh. Fuck for sakes man.

That bill does is extend existing federal discrimination protections to gender identity. It doesn't lock up anyone who says "anything bad" about transgender people. Jesus Christ. Don't quote our constitution if you can't even be assed to spend 30 seconds to read the bill your criticizing.

As for issues with human rights violations....seriously? Why don't you go compare Canada's Amnesty International report to America's and get back to us. >.>

So... What do the sane people think? is a 'Drunken Indian' yelling "I hate white people" then assaulting a random 'white' person committing a hate crime? or are they just drunk?

I question why a simple drunken assault is worthy of conversation to begin with, regardless of what was said. Seems pretty clear at a glance that the assailant is an asshole for throwing the punch, the victim may or may not be an asshole depending on what was said or done (if anything) to prompt the assault, and the ramifications beyond that is a pretty cut and dry domestic ruling by the court. Trying to extrapolate this into some greater social commentary feels like an exercise in the absurd.
