Well, after weeks of back-and-forth with Crunchyroll, my Roku (which is a new up-to-date version) is still unaware that I have Premium membership. So when I try to watch anime THAT I'M EFFING PAYING FOR, I still get that "Try Premium!" crap and ADS when I try to watch.

Crunchyroll, please tell us WHY YOU HAD TO FUCKING CHANGE A SYSTEM THAT WAS MORE-OR-LESS WORKING IN FAVOR OF "UPGRADES" THAT HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT CAUSE TROUBLE FOR YOUR PAYING MEMBERS!!!

It can be difficult to get help from a person who is just following a scripted path that only eliminates the most easy problems, I know...

But since we (the collected peers helping each other here) aren't in on all those conversations, we can't know what all was tried.

Did they at least tell you to:
  • Press the star/asterisk key, then go to settings and log out, then exit the app to the main menu.
  • Then delete all your activated devices on the web page here: /acct/?action=devices
  • Then go back in, press the star/asterisk key again, go to settings, and on the right side of the screen see a generated code. Then go here with this web account, and enter that code: /activate

Asharka, thank you! Your advice worked, and no, Crunchyroll didn't tell me any of that. FINALLY I can watch anime. Again, thank you so much!
