Okay, say you're taking a test on a certain subject and there is a very challenging question that requires you to explain your answer.

How do you go about it?

Poll Correction: Ignore the question.

depends on the question and situation, if I don't feel comfortable, or find it impossible to explain I simply write as such. if a teacher wishes to bring it to my attention then I'll be more than happy to discuss, or not, they can talk to my therapist if I find it insulting, uncomfortable and so forth. but, for the most part I just do the best that I can.

I'm in engineering, this is like 90% of my problems
I've taken three finals so far and the longest one had 4 questions

I either jump straight to the answer if I know how to do it
Or splurge and write everything I think might be relevant. It helps me evaluate the problem and lead me to a right answer while helping me get partial credit should I fail to realize the solution
