*Focus Points: Opinions on Make-Up & Wonder-Bras*

So I've always been amazed at how males would point at some woman and say she's hot, while I diagnose a not-so-exciting-face through her thick make-up in an instant. And quite often one of my male friends would go "Damn, she has nice...eyes" and I'd have to disillusion him by telling him that this shape and size is suspicious of being wonder-bra'd.

Well, it's not like the disillusioning part would really work. They usually insist she's hot or tell me not to spoil the fun.

One of the best examples I can think of is a girl named X. She shaved her eyebrows off and draws them on instead. Apart from that and heavy make-up, tight clothes etc., I eventually noticed her hair glitters in a strange plastic-like way. One of my friends had an affair with her at that time, so I asked him "When you wake up next to her in the morning, does she still have a face on?" I was joking, but judging from his awkward expression, it must be really unpleasant to wake up next to a girl with no eyebrows.

So, how come you guys can't tell fake from real? Or do you not wish to see the truth? If so, what's worse, waking up next to someone that doesn't look like the girl from last night, or just leaving that girl alone in the first place?

Are you disappointed when you take of a girl's bra and her boobs turn out to be two sizes smaller than with the bra on? Or did you expect it? How much make-up and other little tricks are allowed? What's fair, what's not?

Edit: It just occured to me, that maybe only Germans call wonder-bras "push-up", feel free to let me know that you know what I'm talking about.

it depends on what kind of relationship i want,if its just an affair why not?
but if i want to have a long term thing,...eyebrows would be good.

I can tell fake from real pretty easily, too. Sometimes it's just obvious they're faking theyr breastsize/have another face drawn on them with makeup. But not that i care they can do all they want to look "prettier" i just ignore those.

I find make-up sickening... I do NOT want to wake up to see a monster... >.< Make-up in my opinion only makes people look worse/older.

Hmmm...I don't use makeup, except when going to parties or what nots. You're going to end up w/ an unpretty face after using too much for a few years. Try plastic surgery! Actually I have met people who have done permanent makeups on there face. It's like tattooing except applying it to the lips, eybrows and so on. I don't like it, it makes the person look like an old hag after a few years since it fades. It looks pretty in the beginning but afterwards ew.

About wonderbras, yes I've seen that on women. There are exercises to make your breasts bigger or plumpier. Or once again do plastic sugery.

Edit to below: Yeah I agree I use little or no makeup at all. Actually I use a special cream to make my face brighten and smooth.

::: sigh :::;
I hate fake women.
I can't understand why the hell someone would ever shave off their eyebrows.
I mean come on... how can not having eyebrows be attractive?
just EW
anyway.. to be a little self centered here, I usually wear minimal make-up if any at all...
Most of the time it's just a touch of mascara and maybe some lipstick.
I don't wear much make-up because i want people to like ME, not some false image i present.
I think that maybe the girls who either shave off thier eyebrows or look "plastic" just have some serious issues about themselves, and feel better when they are "made up"
So.. yeah... that's my two cents.

Ewww fakeness. >.>
I don't like fake girls.
Can't girls realize that using makeup at a young age just makes them uglier when they grow up..?
i go to the locker rooms & i see girls putting makeup on their faces & putting tissues in their bras... it saddens me really..
i only use lipgloss 'cause they taste good, yummy!
....yeah. >o<

That's an ugly site to see when this "X" becomes much older, especially when it rains or if she's just sweating. That fake eyebrows of hers will came off eventually and it would be embarassing if a kid sees her and says, "Look mom, an alien." haha ^-^

(I remember when Steve-O shaved and plucked off all of his body hair. Dude, it was funny as hell.)

Alls fair in love and war?

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting (Proverbs 31:30).

I agree with you here. A friend of mine did it once and too make things worse, she bombarded herself with make-up. It looked fine to me but I find it hard to believe that she actually shaved her eyebrows...Besides, she looked prettier without make up -_-
