This story has developed slowly ever since the election, but Jill Stein has been accused of being a right-wing plant over the years. When the dossier story first broke, her name appeared several times. I was really skeptical when the story first broke, but as the dossier has become more and more proven, it should warrant an investigation at this point. It would be silly not to.

Though, this could also be an effort for the right-wing to shift the investigation on anyone else.

Haha I find it funny that the Pissgate dossier is now returning to the light. For those that don't know what I am talking about:

Someone from 4chan submitted a fake story to a few news agencies and the British for hire agent who built the dossier obtained the fake 4chan story including such quality journalism in his dossier: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Pissgate

So, um, yeah. I deleted a whole branch of off-topic discussion which is gonna mess up the post order for a little bit.

Some of the posts removed were not themselves a problem, but were removed as part of getting rid of the whole bizarre branch.

Here's my summary of what happened and why I removed the conversation.

1) Someone, possibly as a joke and not understanding the full implication of the material they used, posted a couple of those "Oh look at all the Jews in influential places" "infographics"

2) Many people, including myself, understand such "infographics" to be designed as propaganda to perpetuate a fearmongering, conspiracy-theory anti-Semitic story.

3) Spreading that sort of message is not appropriate on Crunchyroll.

"Deep state" is nothing but Republican bullshit as usual. It's not even that complex for them. They are always blaming someone else for problems. Because they are in power, they've created this "Deep State" thing to blame things on. Deep State is literally just a term for "Republicans that are not like me". Aka, bullshit.

Donald Trump has literally done fucking nothing but expand the things that you guys accuse of being Deep State. So when are you just going to drop the nonsense and get over it already? Your other option is just just going to cause you to repeat this shit for the rest of your life every time you vote Republican.

Republicans are part of the problem as well. I am looking at you McCain, Paul Ryan. However the Republican party is not quite as unified as the Democratic Borg. They have quite a few free thinkers that do whatever they want regardless of what the party says.

12 Republicans voted against the tax bill. 11 are from Blue state districts that would be hit disproportionately hard by the SALT issue and that was their main reason for the no vote. The sole Red state no vote came from Walter Jones. The only Republican actually adhering to the position of deficit hawk that the rest like to pay lip service too. Collectively they are a minuscule fraction of the party and they're being attacked for having voted no.

Walter specifically is the most "free thinking" Republican in the House. Voting along with Trump's lines only 56% of the time. However, the vast majority of House Republicans vote along the Trump party line 85%+ of the time. With most in the 90s.

The Senate is a completely different matter. They vote along the party line all the time. The three biggest "Free thinkers" there are McCain, Collins and Rand Paul. But they all still vote the line 81-83% of the time.

So no, there aren't "quite a few free thinkers" there. Frankly, the strength of the Republican party relies on this party line block voting power. Its bred into their political tactics and party culture. Anyone who budges an inch off the line is branded a RINO.

The Democrats, conversely, can barely get their shit together behind one candidate nevermind operate as a unified Borg. They're only unified when you give them something universally heinous enough to vote against. The moment there isn't an ever present looming threat of something they'll break apart into factions across a political spectrum.
