I loved Log Horizon. All the other anime I've seen about people trapped in MMO's was about getting out of the MMO, I Loved Log Horizon because all the players embraced their new world, and in the end the game world itself became more important. Even giving NPC's personalities and changes to reflect the game world evolving. especially loved the main characters scheming....

Off topic, Why do .hack and SAO fans fight so much that a lot of them just resort to insulting each others intelligence? A couple of months ago I read an article on Japanese laws that protect IP's and they apparently are more protective than in the United States, Does it matter if SAO ripped off .Hack if the .Hack creator doesn't care, and why? and for that matter does it matter at all if anyone rips off anyone else if the original creator doesn't care about it?

Chronicles of the Going Home Club is one of my all-time favorites, as is Wakakozake (in both incarnations)! And I can't count how many times I've referenced Shirobako in reviews. . .
Personally, I feel like Dusk Maiden of Amnesia isn't brought up as often as I think it deserves to be. . .

Urahara has like a 5.90 on MAL and Twin Angel Break only has a 5.96 but those were personally some of 2 of my favorites from last year. I'm also really loving Marchen Madchen from this year, too.

Wolf's Rain...seriously, I rarely hear people talk about this one and when they do, it's usually to just refer to it as "ok".

Some others are:

Fullmetal Alchemist (the 2003 version...good grief this show gets so much flak, both from people that have seen it and those that haven't. It still remains and will probably remain my favorite version of the show)

Baccano! (I know people talk about this one, but not very often. Though usually when it is talked about, it's in a positive light)

The Devil is A Part Timer! (This is a pretty funny show, and the English dub actually makes it waaay better and more amusing than the subbed version in my opinion)

Yu Yu Hakusho (I know a lot of people still love this show, but I think many of them are older anime fans and I think a lot of the younger anime fans don't even know what it is T_T )

Erased (Yeah, I know this one was huge back in 2016 when it aired, but now I usually hear people shit on it saying the ending sucks and that the show started out good but then went downhill. I disagree and love love love this show. I think the ending is pretty good too and doesn't deserve all this hate that it's received)

I don't have any uber-obscure ones, but Polar Bear Cafe, Baby Steps, Miss Bernard Said.

Flowers of Evil-- some people rate this one very highly but I think a lot of people haven't watched it, didn't like what they saw of it, don't know about it. But it's one of my favorites.

Also, fairly recent one that was also fairly well-received, but I'll list it anyway-- Joker Game.

Shouwa Geroku Rakugo Shinjuu.

Whenever this show is reviewed online, people consistently praise it. However, no one I have ever met or spoken to over the internet has seen it. I feel like only a select few people have seen it. If more people watched it, they would love it!

Sword Art Online, Taboo Tatoo, Hand Shakers, and Black Clover. Those are the anime that I enjoyed very much, but see a lot of people hate on.

I'll have to check the other titles on your list since I whole heartedly agree about Hozuki no Reitetsu and The Kawai Complex.

Here are some titles on my personal list of great shows nobody seems to know or care about:

Angel's Egg
Cat Soup
Kokenrenbo
Konohana Kitan

Just like Hozuki no Reitetsu I missed Konohana Kitan last season despite actively looking for good series to watch at the time. It was that unpopular despite being a very solid Iyashikei.
