From this article: https://animeuknews.net/2017/12/anime-limited-news-podcast-update-on-stock-xmas-sales/

There is currently no official list for the titles that are no longer with Anime Limited in terms of the Crunchyroll x Funimation partnership. The reason is because they are waiting for full confirmation on what exactly they have from the deal, but they did mention that they intend to put one out hopefully in 2018. Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- is confirmed to be fine at least, with plans for a potential Q2 2018 release for the first half of the series. They’re also waiting for the English dub to be scheduled in North America. You can watch Re:ZERO on Crunchyroll.

Anime Limited hinted that CR/FUNi might have licensed Re:ZERO for 2018 release.

I'm confused... don't they already have the license since they have had the show streaming for a few months now? Or is this referencing the possibility of a 2nd season?

Maybe it's in reference to the dub?

Streaming rights is different from BD/DVD rights.

Generally speaking, streaming rights are the only thing that gets announced at the time, but Funimation generally has the BD rights if a simuldub is announced alongside with it. Since Re:Zero pre-existed the CR/Funi partnership that so far no BD announcements have been made at this time. Not to mention, TV Tokyo has a gag order on matters relating to BD rights.
