What character trope is the most annoying equally annoying?

The Stupid character
after watching cartoons such as: guardians of the galaxy, sonic boom and started watching Thunder Cats (2011)
these are the stupid characters. Peter quill, Drax even, play the idiot from that cartoon, knuckles and even Dr flipping eggman are really dumb. in the thunder cats. Lion-o is just given the sword of omens, he sees the bad guy and is asked what he saw, he is distracted by some girls outside the castle. why?
the main from puzzle dragon z was terrible

The annoying character
Bolan from korra is so annoying its not funny. too many characters in yugioh gx, that season is trash.
characters who wont shut up. the main from dragon collection "guts, guts guts"
power deck of yugioh 5d's. the butt gang and perfume guy from fairy tale are good examples.

Weak characters
cant think of any besides one

Characters who eat alot
goku, luffy and Naruto are all guilty if this

Characters who eat a lot is probably the worst IMO. It's probably the most annoying as shows waste so much time on food and eating stuff being a plot point. Also the tropes like when they crave meat and stuff it's just not funny anymore. Looking at you One Piece.

The "Punish The Unwitting Lech" trope will always be my least favorite, when someone unknowingly grabs a girl's boob then gets clobbered afterwards (ie. Love Hina) . It's often funnier if it's deserved, (Urusei Yatsura, Happosai from Ranma 1/2).

The Mary Sue doesn't happen often, but one popular anime character in particular rubs me the wrong way (Kirito from SAO). If, however, used for comedic purposes and is well written, (One Punch Man, Sakamoto Desu Ka) I can actually enjoy it and give it a pass.

The constant Power Ceiling advance is also ridiculous and just makes me believe writers are just ass pulling at this point. Naruto: Shippuden and Dragon Ball Super are the biggest culprits. On the flip side, anime with very believable fights with a strict power ceiling so far are Hunter x Hunter and My Hero Academia.

It's not OP Kirito that destroys the series. It's NTR Asuna...

Srsly. That show flirts with it more than it should. (it's also the alfheim sequence that is when most people quit. Then she goes from "creepy computer guy who can change personalities and rewire minds and has a weird obsession with her" to "forced marriage to a guy who makes kirito seem vastly inferior" and that's about when I quit. They stopped focusing on the world inside the game, perhaps just because of how OP they were inside, and focused on this crap).

The power level thing is so incredibly unrealistic and kinda time wasting. Even the greatest can "fall" from a relatively mundane and unpowered person. Just a matter of right place and right time.

My least favorite one though is the "everyone is between the ages of 12 and 16" trope. Like is anyone in their 20's or 30's?

Characters turning into gibbering idiots as soon as romance is involved.

I feel like in half the stories I consume a fairly interesting character will at some point fall for another character (who usually is too dense to notice despite reciprocating the feeling). From this point on they will turn into a vegetable whenever they think about that other character and will agonize over their feelings for the majority of the story before bloody talking to the other character about them.
Makes me want to lock them into a room and yell at them until they talk to each other.

The cool guy
this may the main or 2nd characters who are op as hell but may come off as a jerk who is a full on lone wolf. may or may not join the others but is a jerk when they show their face. they aim to look cool but hard to like when they start off cold and heartless. the kind with so much skill they dont need to put in alot of effort to finish their opponent.

Examples are:
chaude or chad from megaman nt warrior. is so great at being op, he needs to be nerfed cause hes skills are too perfect.

Mugai from Mushibugyo
this guy has a sword so big that only cloud and sephiroth can only dream of
the strangest hair but hes the strongest.

Hyper Smart IQ
this always bothers me when a characters knows something they shouldnt cause they werent around, no one could of been hearing and passed it off, when they know they are being followed but didnt see the eavesdropper.

The fat guy
as another pointed out in part 1, over eating is annoying and we rarely see characters change much yet some are fat or ugly you cant like them and wish they didnt exist.

brother struggle and whos in charge
in thunder cats 2011. tygra tries hes hardest to claim the throne over lion-o due to extreme jealousy.
even putting him in harm and killing him. wow great brother... NOT
later episode the other cats complain about climbing a mountain... are you kidding me and play keep away with fruit.
very frustrating

The annoying voice
ugh i cant stand this at all, a voice so bad you need to mute the tv
Yugioh gx had this big beefy guy who fought Zane Truesdale

Pica from one piece

and Rusaburō Enkōgawa

all have that dumb high pitched voice.

New powers with a catch
Bleach and Dragon ball series will have attacks and forms for a limited time that wont be ever seen again
ichigo has had too many forms we only see once. same for any movies
super sayian god red was quickly thrown away or is that incorrect? im seeing people say both blue and red has its pros and cons

when they get new powers early but cant use, try again later... much later. oh but the cool guy can use it just fine cause hes the cool guy....

Cold female characters
the ones who hit, slap and kick the guys for no reason, ugh i just want to hit them back.

If I had to name the kind of character I hate most, it would be the Full-of-Excuses-for-Everything character.

This is the kind of character who is morally gray and highly selfish at heart, but pretends otherwise. When confronted about their shitty deeds (cheating, stealing, ditching their friends to be eaten by monsters, framing other people for their shitty deeds, etc) they get preachy and/or weepy about how they have emotional needs or how they didn't have a choice. Their decisions have negative effects on other people, but they make everything about themselves. This character is spineless and irritating. You will often see this kind of character as the female love interest in TV shows.

Liar Revealed. I really, really, really can't stand that one. Even "The Man Who Killed Batman" bothers me a bit and that was pretty much the best its ever been done (The Joker's Eulogy helps a lot, as does Matt Frewer's performance).

People masquerading as something they're not is fine. It's that very, very particular "Liar Revealed" plot that bothers me.

Others that bother me are the idiot ball, the accidental pervert, the stock shonen hero, the hollywood atheist. There are also loads of them that are painful when the characters are locked down so completely rigidly they can't get even the slightest bit of development. Flanderization also bothers me.

Clearly another troper! ...No surprise with this thread title though.

With you on the lair thing. The thing that irks me the most, however is villains who are completely evil with nothing else of interest.

Like a backstory or shallow justification for why they're like what there like isn't necessary or even having any redeeming moral features. But if they're not interesting, amusing or cool and are just a relentless pit of jackass I can't pay attention to the show because someone just needs to PLEASE KILL THEM ALREADY ARUGH!

Also Milquetoast Protagonist syndrome. Franxx has done it pretty well (Hiro's clearly suffering from grief or possibly depression for understandable reasons which explains why he's the way he is,) but even then it annoys me slightly.
