I'm not surprised. Everything he's done up to this point seemed to have been based on the assumption that he believed god was on his side, or something. Admitting defeat would be tantamount to giving that up.

Personally, I'm more interested in the possibility of an investigation into the allegations. Convicting someone in the court of public opinion is well and good, but as the presidential elections have demonstrated, successful mudslinging doesn't equate to a conviction. I thought the number of witnesses indicated a degree of credibility, but considering my own biases are in play, that isn't necessarily enough.

I’m honestly a little worried. What Moore is doing here is a continuation of what Trump was making noise about during his campaign. If this builds any sort of momentum, it could become part of the Republican playbook whenever they lose.

oh lord you guys are funny

The statement gives few details of the purported irregularities, which it says were substantiated "with a reasonable degree of statistical and mathematical certainty" by three election experts.

The statement identifies only one of the experts, Richard Charnin, whom it quotes as saying the probability that the official election results were accurate was "less than one in 15 billion."

Charnin, who says he has three degrees in applied mathematics, is a prominent figure among believers that the assassination of President John F. Kennedy was the result of a conspiracy. He has also argued that the Republicans stole the 2004 presidential election and that Hillary Clinton stole the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.

a maths expert says its a 99% chance of election fraud? and YOU ARE WORRIED that the results will be RECOUNTED?

notice how he thinks hillary stole the election from bernie like me? which is TRUE? but this article puts it on the lines of a CONSPIRACY? W.T.F... and you guys complain that trump depised the media... wow... WOW...

im looking at you hillary voters

This is the same “math expert” who claims that he has calculated to a 1% error of margin that the government killed JFK.
That’s not how it works.
Richard Charnin is the same guy who has been saying that all of his calculations are 99-100% accurate based on the election models he’s created.
He doesn’t ever show these models, just assumes that people will believe him at face-value.
Charnin has been doing this with any “high voltage” election since 2004 (Kerry/Bush) and there’s always some article that cites his blog around the same time.

As for Roy Moore, he can sue to delay or force a recount all he wants.
To be fair, the Democrats have done similar things to hold up Republicans from getting their agenda pushed through (this has been an ongoing event between the two parties as long as I’ve been alive, if not longer).
It’s a shitty tactic but it’s within their right to do so.
Just because it’s a violatile election (Republicans are terrified of losing any seats right now) doesn’t mean that he can’t do this - just that Democrats will react as though he’s doing something unorthodox.

So Moore wasn't able to raise funds to pay for a recount?

I do kind of wonder if Trump would have pulled similar shenanigans if he had lost the "rigged" presidential election. But his quick abandonment of undermining the validity of the election along with abandonment of Moore seems to indicate the GOP is largely not taking either seriously.

I have to say, I absolutely adore this. These assholes were so sure that they were gonna win they intentionally shot down the idea of a recount and when they lost they realized that they had shot themselves in the dick so badly that they needed to make up voter fraud allegations. This is one for the history books

Of comedy, that is.

Eh, more a matter of the margins didn't meet Alabama's narrow definition for a recount, and Moore apparently didn't/couldn't pony up the cash for one. Doesn't help Moore's case that state officials didn't find any evidence of voter fraud.

oh jeez that was easy i wonder why people get specialized maths degrees.... because they are maths professionals hmm 45 percentages turnout to a 75 percantage turn out not very susspicious at all... lol...

Voter turnout does not inherently indicate fraud. Particularly in an election when "Trump" voters were being asked to vote for an alleged pedophile.

Then by all means please show an official source saying that. From the OP article right under what you previously linked:

State officials said last week that they had found no evidence of voter fraud in the Alabama Senate race.

You mean this guy?

http://fox2now.com/2017/12/21/alabama-finds-no-voter-fraud-after-probe-of-tv-interview/

During the live broadcast, a man supporting Jones said he and others had come from different parts of the country and “pitched in to vote and canvass together.”

The comment fueled speculation that out-of-state voters were taking part in Alabama’s election.

Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill said Thursday that his office determined the man has lived in Alabama for more than a year and is a registered voter in the state.

You mean the end segment that's clearly labeled "2008" at the bottom?
