Personally I've been trying to find animal related jobs. Either volunteer working at a shelter to get scholarships or working the counter at a vet's clinic. At any other point in my life I really would be glad to work at a shelter for free but right now I'm young and time is precious. My end goal is either veterinarian school or becoming a wildlife rehabilitator.

I've chronic fatigue syndrome so that pretty much rules out going to uni as there's no way I'd be able to keep up. I'm thinking of quitting school after i get my gcses and maybe get a part time job. Eventually I'd like to be an author because i love reading.

It's a tough call, really. Normally I'd suggest exactly working at a shelter or veterinary clinic to get experience and be sure this is the kind of thing you want to do - both sides of that help. On the one hand, you get experience that you can leverage into a job later, and on the other, you can be sure it's something you'd be interested in pursuing long term before investing years (and lots of money) into school for. Doing a free job for a little while costs a lot less than paying off school for something you end up not liking, after all!

If not that, try looking to local parks. Generally they will have some wildlife care training that you can get as well, and many have sanctuaries for wounded birds/deer/etc, which could really help you on your resume.

ETA: As for me, I wanted to be a video game programmer when I was in school, and did that for a long time. Now I'm making cartoon and anime props for cosplayers on the side, which is a lot of fun! But also required a lot of math and sitting through boring classes, I'll admit.

I want to be an astronaut but I'm too dumb, unfit and autistic to be one.

Programmer sadly I can’t work right now or study as I’m dealing with Depression and panic attacks and I still have meltdowns due to Autism and emotional breakdowns due to stress a lot.

So I’m taking my time to go through Therapy and getting a part time job next year on the way to make some money so I can invest and visit the girl I care about

That's really cool! My best friend is going into the animal field as well. Ideally as a wildlife biologist but he's thinking of parasitologist as a backup plan. My other friend wants to be a vet and she also works at vet clinic like you have in mind.,really awesome stuff. I wish you good luck with your career! It's a very interesting one.

As for me, I am studying to be a nurse. I don't know what type yet, but that's the beauty of it. There are so many different fields to choose from. Decent salary too. I thought of trying for doctor but I'm just not capable of getting into that kind of debt.

Oh yeah without a doubt! Vet school would be hard but to be honest, that's something I admire about it. It makes me happy that universities take vet school very seriously, especially since there are a lot of people out there who think that just because they aren't people like we are, their health isn't as important. They're still living creatures that require just as much attention and care in sickness as any person would.

Yeah vet schools have very high criteria. Basically as hard as medical school. Animal health is important! it's true people do seem to look more down on vets than regular medical doctors. It's such an honorable profession that deserves respect.

I want to write books. Mostly fiction but still controversial in a way that it changes the way people think about society and how the world is run today.

I have no damn clue, so i just picked Physical Therapy since it's a common career path in my family. Plus, i can put my fitness into use. Not to mention its a job in high demand, and i don't need much internship experience or schooling

I'm in (and finishing) engineering right now.
Ideal job, I think, would be project based work in robotics. I don't like the manufacturing side (which I will probably end up dealing with anyway) as much. And I hate the idea of being tied to one thing for the rest of my career. I want to solve ever newer and more complex challenges, hence project based work. If I could do something novel with every project that would be ideal, I think. And, for clarification, a project for me in this sense can be anywhere from a month to years, I don't really care.

And, as a bonus, robotics and tech companies (and a lot of engineering firms in general) are international, meaning travel is an option; one I would gladly take.

Chef de partie or sous-chef. I don't want to go as high as chef de cuisine because of all the stress, and they don't do the food preparation anymore.

Buuut I specify in pastry, so unless I work in a big enough hotel/restaurant/whatever that has a separate pastry kitchen, it's very likely that I'll only ever be a commis or something.

I just want to travel around the world and get paid for it tbh.
