Your Name has finally shown up on Amazon Prime but in both dubbed and sub-titled format. Which one do you recommend? I usually go for sub-titles but if the dub is nice...

I found they did a good job on them both. when I'm streaming something, I tend to watch the dubbed first (if possible) so I can just watch it to know what's going on, then later watch the sub and catch all the beautiful things I could have missed with dub alone, because dub I tend to just let play in the background more than pay attention to it. but the choice is entirely up to you.

I've moved this over to Advice, Info, Recommendations.

I almost never watch dubbed, and I watched the subtitles in theaters, so unless someone gives a particularly good assessement of the dub, and you have some reason to watch that instead of subtitles, I'd just naturally say go with the dub.

It's really nice that that have both on Prime. I've payed for Amazon streaming videos before that I then had to cancel the order on when I discovered it was dub only Pisses me off when they don't clearly label that.)

I watched both, more than once LOL
dubbed is easier for me to follow and you can focus more on the animation because your eyes are not constantly focused on the bottom of the screen reading, but you lose a lot of the spirit of it by it not being in Japanese
