So what is the meaning of the shows name exactly? I am wondering why it isn't "A Place Farther Than the Universe"

It was the title of the book by the girl's mother. And probably an Engrish translation.

Madhouse is bringing it with this show already. Only two episodes in and this feels like something truly special.

The music is amazing. The overal feel of the art style and flow of the animation is good.

While I wasn't a big fan of LWA, it kind of has a similar feel to it to me.

I am REALLY excited about the prospects and potential of this show from what little we've seen already.

Shirase keeps saying she goes to Antarctica to find her mother. She can't be possibly be alive after missing three years, can she? It isn't like missing in the jungle or desert island. Wonder if the show will have sone supernatural elements.

I could easily see this being my favorite of the season. Hinata looks like a strong contender for best girl of the season as well. Whether they make it to Antarctica or not, they're milking the adventure for everything it's worth.

Hinata is an excellent addition to the cast and I love the flavour she has introduced to the show. Nice to see some of the more realistic issues brought forward in a way that feels genuine and not just thrown in as a roadblock. The mystery of the missing mother definitely intrigues me and it does seem to hint that she's not alive anymore (and, taken in that context, the title of the show reinforces that as well). Really solid second episode and I'm eager to see exactly where things go from here.

Such a fun episode. I love the conversations they are having and dealing with literal facts and difficulty of what exactly they are trying to undertake and accomplish.

And that chase was so damned funny and entertaining.

A Place Further Than The Universe EP 2 "Kabukicho Fremantle"

This is just a wonderful anime SOL / drama / comedy / and now seeminngly responbile adults and a lone girl on a train with our regrouping trio Oh Kabukicho was pretty crazy

Shirase lays out the plans to Mari on how to get to Antarctica They are taking civilians this year and Shirase seems to know people going from a pic on her phone But thy have to fly to Australia first to board the ship

Megumi show Mari problems withe Civilian Expedition as they Have The Ice Breaker ( Shirase II ) named after Sirases mother and the Syowa Station but funding is a problem as the goverment backed out too having new stations open

That Memorial is ominous !

Also Mari needs to raise money / she also asks ?? after seeing the news articles and if they will let them join Shirase found a job for Mari the same dubious one Mari picked out but is illegal ( err escorts )

Afterwards they have a fight about the problems / Shirase leaves but comes back as both were feeling upset

Mari sees a job at at store and gets the job She meets the lively Hinata who kmows Mari by her nickname Kimari They are both the same age Hinata asks why Mari is working and says for a trip and Hinata says Antarctica much to Mari's surprise.

Polar Drink / Weddel Seal Soda XD

She wants to go and Shirase lays out the rules and leaving school but Hinta doesnt go but is Smart she has her HS Certificate and paseed a mock exam for college She stiil has 2 yers for college exams and wants to do something special

Mari / Hinta get along good but Shirase says be more serious and Hinata says to Mari she's kinda strict and Mari agrres Shirase give both of them the plans

Hinata says she a lot of the HS students but says to Mari her Ans shirase seemed special and always liked them

They go to Kabukicho a flashy place with clubs but also love hotels But bnthat is where the Antarctica expedtion is at hey try to get some males to go with them for cover but the group they approach has the 2 people that was on the pic and those 2 are not happy and give chase Hinata splits from the other 2 but so do the adults but Mari is having fun though But the 3 runners all collide Later The 2 Senior members refuse Shirase's offer of money so she can find her mom but they say they will do it on their own The girl who says who sare they later on the train

They later reflect on Shirase's mother as they were friends and companions when she got lost They also talk about the funding as another woman comes in and may be part of the answer

Our trio decicde to replace Shirase as leader that as a lone girl is on the same train looking very sad

I'm already in love with this show. Hinata is already my favorite character, which is weird because that's usually not my preferred character type, but I can relate to her on a personal level. That running scene was absolutely phenomenal too, the animation, the music, and how much fun Mari was having with it.

I'm just enjoying this show immensely and I'm a little sad that there's only going to be 13 episodes. I was hoping to see a little bit more of them in Antarctica, and at this rate I'm not sure when they'll get there.

Episode 1 & 2

I came into this show a little skeptic. I just figured it would be another show that I have probably seen multiple times, but I couldn't be more wrong. It was quite the surprise to be honest. The studio is doing majestic work. Rarely have I seen such beautiful visuals and animation to describe the themes present in the show extremely well. Especially the chase scene, that right there was standing ovation worthy. They were absolutely living youth and nobody fell down!?!?!?! I also feel like every character is magnificently designed. Each of them have great personalities and incredible depth. There are multiple times the facial expressions and scenes tell the story themselves. This is one of those shows where its hard to say in words how great it is unless you personally experience it while watching.

Without a doubt, I would recommend this to everyone who hasn't watched it yet and browse things for feedback. This show (among a few others) this season is a must watch in my opinion. It will be one hell of a journey as we explore these characters and how they will tackle the upcoming obstacles.

This show is definitely doing something right yes this type of show is something I'd typically watch but its so much more then just a simple cute girls doing cute stuff or a slice of life anime which is what I thought it would be just judging by the cover art and not being based off source material like manga or a light novel means that pacing can be a lot more natural which is something I've noticed is a strength of this series and makes it that much more relatable I could easily see this being one of those shows that no one really wants to give a shot but could end up being really great

Hi, Does anyone know the name of the song and artist during the chase scene? Been trying to find it but no luck so far! Thank you!

Read the description and wasn't going to watch this, but decided to give it a try. Love it. This show is just all around great, love girls going on adventures like Rolling Girls. And the wanting to but never following through on doing something adventurous speaks to me at the moment.
